I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This was a fantastic place to stay. It was right in the middle of the haps of Newport. They had free parking and the room has an absolutely incredible view. It was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room.

We enjoyed our stay at Club Wyndham. Great location to walk to dinner and shopping in the area. The unit was nice, very comfortable bed, very clean. Walls are thin, we had a crying baby next to us but not a bother. We had a great weekend.

Very hard to rate this place. From convenience perspective, its amazing. Close to all shopping, dinning, ITHF. Very walkable to all. Rooms decor is old. Very old. Air-condition in our room with Air hanger was either loud or not working. Second floor is right above the bar, which does get very loud till 1am. A bit hard to find this place, and parking is available somewhat but very limited but free. Mixed feelings here. Probably will not stay here again.

Under what did you like I would check every one, especially location by the water and Thames St. In addition, when we had car trouble, the hotel mechanic went out of his way to crawl under the car and diagnose the problem for us.

Perfect place to stay in downtown Newport

Staff was terrific, very friendly and helpful. Having free parking on site in downtown Newport is a huge plus. The room was nice and clean with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location can’t be beat. You can walk to everything you want to do in downtown Newport.

Loved the room, the amenities, location, and especially the harbor view. I regret that I didn't call ahead to make sure the sofa-bed was made up. Biggest problem was trying to find where to check in!! Seriously, this was not easy. No signage anywhere, and the check-in area was so insignificant, again with no signage, that I didn't know I'd found it. There was nobody there!

Great location and friendly staff!! My only complaint is NO BATHTUB When I booked, the room description said bath or shower. I requested bath but was told NO TUBS in the entire hotel. They need to change room descriptions! Otherwise, love it.. Fun bar also

Getaway!

Get little get away. Can walk to just about everything you need. Got to watch the sunset from our window or up on roof deck. Not sure I would visit in summer only because it would be too crazy for me. Liked this place a lot!

Close to everything!

We really enjoyed staying at Club Wyndham on the harbor in Newport, RI. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore upper and lower Thames Street. Our room had a harbor and it was such a beautiful view. The front desk staff were all very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t hear anyone around us or any noise from the bar under the hotel. There is a great little coffee shop (Kaffeology) in front of the hotel along with Ben and Jerry's Ice cream and Kilwins candy shop. The bar under the hotel serves food and there are two restaurants down on the corner (Oyster Bar and The Red Parrot).
