I have stayed at the Newcastle property on and off for the past 20+ years. Under the Days Inn name it is more modern and nicer. The gentleman who did the check in was very friendly, cordial and helpful. He took the time to explain things thoroughly. He was very nice and was definitely an asset to Days Inn.

The infrastructure of this hotel is old and run down. Our room was mostly clean and the shower and toilet worked fine and room updated. Mattress and pillows were great. This place is really trying.

Would stay here again

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly enough it was nice and quiet.its in a convenient location.just don’t expect much out of the breakfast it wasn’t much there is mostly carbs for breakfast it was our only real complaint

Great staff

The hotel staff were very friendly and remembered me from a previous visit. They were very polite and accommodating to any needs that I had well there. Well visiting Newcastle in the future my family and I will always stay at this location.

All good except for spotlight

It was nice cool and quiet. The only issue was the curtains would allow light from a parking lot floodlight to shine in. I fixed with a magnet to the door

The bathroom toliet had poop on the side dried. The floors needed swept and moped. Behind the headboard part of the bed needed swept and washed it had someone old sock and an earring. It just wanst really cleaned

I would recommend this hotel. They are doing some rejuvenating on the outside, but the rooms are clean and spacious. Continental breakfast is a plus.

Very unique parking! you can walk directly into room without going through a hallway. it was the best breakfast in a motel our entire trip! Staff was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. Room and bed was excellent & quiet.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years and it definitely was not kept up to industry standards. I was happy to see it had been purchased by Wyndam/Super 8 hoping that had done a big remodel of the rooms. My room definitely had been upgraded in some respects, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Toilet seat didn't fit properly and moved around, caulking around the tub and flooring needs redone, couldn't get any hot water for a shower, found several things that were not cleaned properly, needed directions on how to operate the TV system, etc. Hoping improvements will continue.
