Had a situation when I arrived, the front desk clerk could not check me in. He spoke to his supervisor who was very accommodating she handled the situation within 5 minutes. Being a former general manager in another hotel , I couldn't do a better job. This hotel is cleaner, nicer, more accommodating than some upscale hotels just a few blocks , and very reasonable and no hidden fees and surprises, and they do not charge you for a bottle of water ,lol ..Highly recommend.

Oh my goodness. Exceeded my expectations. A lot. I went to NYC in 2015 and stayed at another hotel right around the corner. The ROW NYC. That one put a bad taste in my mouth about the city in general right away. They had very rude staff that made people feel like an inconvenience. Naturally, went expecting the same kind of attitude at the 45. I was thankfully wrong. The staff are super friendly.Extremely helpful and took and stored my luggage and coat hours prior to check in time. Good sized rooms for NYC not too much smaller than elsewhere actually. Clean as heck with free water and coffee. Although I was in NYC on a personal getaway, I am a professional tour guide and driver in the Canadian Rockies. So I understand very well that the little things like the way you talk to your guests and all the other little things that can make or break a persons impression of not just your company but your destination as a whole. The 45 Times Square knows it too. And has it right.
