It's a great place to stay and not be in the city. Totally loved being right on the water!! Our room really needed a little TLC, would have asked for a different room if we hadn't arrived so late. Great restaurant and we felt very safe walking around the grounds at night.

Be very aware of these surroundings when booking the rooms we got catfished , the rv spots are decent , but rooms super outdated and you can hear every tiny bit of sound when asleep including everyone staying next to you . We checked out only one night stay out of three , they prefer not to refund you even though I have proof and receipts of me booking elsewhere. Please do you’re research .

The bed was very uncomfortable, The mattress sags the moment you sit on it; it’s very thin, so you end up having a bad night's sleep.

The pictures that were shown were not an indication of the room we rented. It was filthy, holes in tiles, warped tiles, robe hooks hanging from the walls, a comforter that had large holes in it and that's just naming a few. The "security guard" came and showed us where our site was and then proceeded to tell us how to safety walk on the boardwalk to our villa. (The boardwalk was VERY unstable and leaned terribly). I have emailed the manager and am waiting for a response. Would not recommend the villas.

We did a last minute booking and found this property. Online gave us a sure description of everything to expect and they lived up to their word! The staff were kind and helpful, the store and restaurant on the property was a major plus and the convenient stores, Walmart and fast foods places only 6 minutes away. I was surprised to find this best kept affordable secret only 10-20 minutes from everywhere we had planned to go. The fishing was awesome and the Pontchartrain River 5 minutes distance with fishing that was unbelievable!!! There were 5"shrimp right on the docks...we had a truly good time and at the end of the day, the villa was clean, beds comfortable, security visible, environment peaceful and efficient amenities. We will return, but next year we'll be booking early to get a few of the Signature Villas. The one we had did not come with a microwave and that was the only issue I had. and the bed was really low for my knees but I managed!

My only complaints for this otherwise great budget accommodation is that the mattress was very dirty and a bit terrifying to sleep on. The pool was nice, most of the property was attractive and well maintained.
