We have never been to New Orleans and I was nervous about choosing a place to stay-my husband asked why I chose this particular place- it checked all of the boxes- parking was easy and affordable, it was a more quiet area, there were restaurants with in walking distance and transportation, and a rooftop pool! When we got to our room it was quite lovely- it was clean, charming with modern conveniences like a kitchen (just like in the pictures), a full size washer and dryer - which came in very handy, it was very comfortable- with ample closet space. We downloaded the Jazzy pass for the trolleys- they do take a little planning- we even took the bus once-and walking was just as easy- it really is about a 15-20 minute walk depending on where you are going and we aways felt safe no matter what time we were headed back. We did not get to the roof top pool very much-but the view at night is lovely- the bar was not open when we got there and the only disappointment was the pool was closed on Saturday morning- there was no sign or communication - I thought someone forgot to open the door but I was told it wasn't opening until the restaurant opened- not sure why as the restaurant is totally separate. We did not eat there or drink at the bar so I cannot speak to that- Oh- and the gym is huge! We would definitely stay here again -
