「If you’re just looking for beds and a shower, it’s fine. We stayed in a family room that slept six. The beds were comfortable enough. However, the room was stuffy and there is no air conditioning. We tried to open the single window and discovered a lot of knats. So we smashed them and decided not to open the window since there are no screens. They did provide two fans in the room, so we made do with that for the one night we stayed. In the morning we went out to put our bags in the car...

「Neil is a phenomenal host who has thought of everything. And if you want to know about the history of Scotland or England or want to discuss it, you've come to the right place! He's incredibly knowledgeable about a variety of topics. He's also a tremendous cook and has a great sense of humor. And the view of Ben Nevis right out the window is to die for. We slept very well in the super comfortable bed and woke to the sound of chirping birds.」

The guest house is conveniently located within walking distance of town, making it easy to get around. It’s also a great option if you’re planning to hike Ben Nevis. Breakfast was excellent! I would definitely stay here again.」

「Very very bad experience with high room rate. First day check in the radiator was malfunction, then the manager offered a dusty and dirty portable heater. The hair dryer also occasionally out of order. The second day the room was cleaned with used towels left and room and floor was not cleaned. The third day no cleansing and also NO hot water supply. Though staff were tried to help and offered bottle of wine, but you can imagine how bad the experience during the stay. Will tell my friends not to...

「Clean and tidy. Good to have self-cook facilities but with limited utensils. No hair dryer is a trouble to me. A bonus is that the steam train will pass by & you can have a close look.」

「Paul was simply a wonderful host, beautiful well kept property, great linens and an amazing breakfast. Worth the trip. 」

「Good location for the area and easy to find. Hotel itself is a bit dated, including our room. Wifi was terrible and essentially useless for our stay. Dinner was good but waited a long time to be seated and served. Breakfast was acceptable. Overall, an okay experience.」
