"We stayed in the gate house as a family of 3 and chose this hotel as it was a short drive to the flower bowl entertainment centre. The room was out of the main hotel in a separate building and was nicely done with comfy beds. We had an evening meal in the walled garden restaurant and both the food and service were great. We didn’t use the pool as it was £10pp to use the facilities. The only thing that really let down our stay was the buffet breakfast as many of the items had not been refilled leaving many items not available and the food that was there was cold. As the breakfast was an added cost to the room I wish we had gone elsewhere for breakfast. I did tell the receptionist on check out as there hadn’t been any staff around at breakfast to tell and was told he was sorry to hear that."

"Four off us stayed for a 1 week, the hotel and staff were excellent and very helpful, our room was very comfortable, bed was very comfortable. We did have a problem trying to get into our room, the key card did not activate and had to go to reception several times for new card. If we had 1 problem, it would be most helpful to have a handrail going up the steps to main entrance."
