This hotel was in a great location, set back from the road but close enough to the town. The hotel was clean and exactly how described. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, so there were lots of stairs to climb. Will recommend and would stay again.

Second time I’ve stayed here, and will keep coming back. The food is very good, rooms are clean and peaceful, and the staff are genuinely excellent. The property is tired around the edges but efforts are being made and the staff and location more than make up for this.

Nice hotel, location, quiet and peaceful. Staff, very helpful, perhaps a couple more at times, especially at breakfast, would help them, and the guest. Gym is well stacked with CV machines, pin machine and free weights, steam room and sauna good too, pool a little cold when you get in, but comfortable afterwards. Little things here could be refreshed, shower in pool area, button broke and only cold water, couple of lounges however, no cushions, so good enough to relax for a few minutes. All this, and yes I will be going back.

Oh dear, I'm sure this could be a very nice hotel. Rather sad and disappointing from the bath which felt like it may break, odd taps on the sink, tired furnishings, patched. Everything seemed thin, curtains (which didn't quite keep out the light), the handwash, the toilet paper, the bath. The room although dated was clean, the staff were nice. The place could be lovely.

Quite run down, bathroom had mould and when you stood in the shower then bottom of the bath flexed so you thought it was going to give way. Food in the restaurant isn't great, it's ok if you really don't want to go out but there are some lovely much better places within walking distance which are also significantly cheaper, the prices in the hotel are, in my view, excessive. Generally the staff were lovely but that isn't enough to entice us back unfortunately. It needs some serious TLC and if it gets that it'll be amazing as it's in a lovely location.
