We just spent 9 nights at Sunset at the Palms, and it was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Every interaction felt genuine — warm smiles, thoughtful service, and an attention to detail that never felt forced. It’s clear this is a place where people care about what they do, and it shows in every corner of the experience. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed — a perfect balance of relaxed luxury and natural charm. It felt like a real escape: calm, grounding, and restorative in a way that’s hard to find. What says the most is this: we will absolutely be returning. That’s huge for us, because we’ve never committed to visiting the same place twice before. Sunset at the Palms changed that. If you’re looking for a place that feels special, personal, and genuinely memorable — this is it. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

This hotel is the perfect pause needed from a busy life. It has private beach access. The staff and services are incredible. Hospitality is taken seriously in this resort. I met a few couples that come back often. The environment is safe, peaceful and near fun areas in Negril. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family any day!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. We did a vow renewal ceremony, and I am so glad we did. Our location was absolutely beautiful, but what really makes this resort special is the people. Everyone made us feel extra special; which was, well, special.

Room was clean. Staff was very nice and pleasant and seemed happy to help in any way. This is a quiet and quaint placed. Don't expect loudness or major night life. It's a place to relax and enjoy the pleasantries of the resort and a beautiful beach. Drinks are what you would expect in Jamaica. Jim beam is bourbon and jack Daniel's whisky. Rum runners were string but good. Would recommend for a couple get away that likes quiet and quaint

Every meal was a treat, from the breakfast buffet to the Chef's Showcase dinner. The bungalows were terrific... it felt like we were in the jungle! The beach was spectacular, great view and shaded in many places. And the service was top notch. We will be back.

We had our wedding here and they did an amazing job! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, shoutout to our wedding planner, Amanda, and our favorite server, Tamika! The beach is only about a 2 minute walk and they have crossing guards that assist you. We will definitely be back.

The resort is absolutely awesome. Its like escaping into a Amazon forest. The staff were incredible. Everything is super clean. The service is fast. Our safe stopped working and guy was there in 5 minutes to fix. The food was unbelievable, especially the buffet. Most buffet food is like "fast food". Not here!! Wish i had the shrimp recipe!!. Choices were extensive. The "chefs choice" night dinner was also excellent!!! I really cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I would recommend it in a heartbeat!! Especially to adults looking for a great place with no kids!!! But it is not a "high octane" place. If you are looking for loud music, too many people are non-stop activity all around you, go someplace else.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Love the jungle feeling and privacy for each treehouse. The beach is a short walk across the street with crossing guards to help stop traffic. Beach is amazing not crowded, clean and friendly beach staff. They make sure you’re not bothered by people selling their goods. We enjoyed shopping on the beach.(shopping was short walk down the beach). Staff around the resort were amazing so friendly and fun. They make a point to make you feel welcomed. Food was good. Our room was beautiful, unfortunately we had shower issues, the first 2 nights water stopped running in the middle of my shower and then our 4th night the shower had no hot water. I will say they took care of it but it was quite frustrating with limited time to get ready for things. I wish the concierge station would have kept us updated on the process of each situation we had to contact them. With that being said I would still definitely go back. I hesitated even mentioning the shower but I feel they need to communicate more keep us updated, we did agree if they had to turn water off a 3 rd day they would leave me a note ahead of time. Beautiful hotel and amazing staff!!

We loved our stay at Sunset at the Palms!! The beach is one of the most amazing I’ve been to - it is across the road so something to consider if you have mobility concerns but we found it was a nice separation and there were crossing guards to help you get there safely. The beach was private, so you could get lunch from the resort and drinks as well. Rooms were a great size and bed was comfortable - some of the furnishings could use an update (I.e. no smart TVs, bathroom fixtures were a bit dated) but this did not take away from our experience at all. Many of the other guests we met had been to SATP 5-7x previously, which is a good sign! The food was incredible. Staff were pleasant, kind, and eager to help. Definitely would recommend SATP if you’re looking for a quieter, relaxing place - not for partiers or people looking for a rowdy vacation.

We had an 11 day stay at Sunset at the Palms from the last week of September into the first week of October. We found staff to be genuinely friendly; not one member of staff failed to greet us as we passed around the resort, and all took the time to help with a smile on their face. So many examples of staff who went above and beyond. The buffet meals were generally good. Breakfast was a mix of standard buffet hot foods and cereals, cold meats, cheese and fruits with a daily Jamaican hot breakfast selection too. Lunch is al la carte on both the resort and beach bar. Food there was good, recommend the burgers, club sandwich and specials (which changed daily). The Chef’s showcase in many ways I felt was the star of the show, but not just because of the food which was always excellent. It was a fixed menu but different each time. What made it stand out for me was that the chef’s preparing each course were in the early stages of their careers and this was their opportunity to showcase their talents and meals. This shows a willingness on the resort’s part to develop and support their staff which reflects so positively on them. The resort grounds are beautiful, well kept but not in a manicured formal way. You have the sense of being in the tropics not a garden. The wildlife is varied – we enjoyed watching hummingbirds feed whilst laying in bed. The resort buildings and facilities are generally well maintained and kept very clean.

The perfect hotel if you are looking to relax. No crowds at the beach. For an all inclusive the food is quite good. The rooms are fantastic. Very relaxing.
