"All rooms have a sea view, interrupted only by palm trees. My delux room was huge with a massive bathroom. I loved that you can see the ocean from the shower or bathtub. Spa treatments were lovely. Staff all friendly and hard working. The road outside did not feel very safe after dark. There is a pavement but it is blocked in places by shrubs or parked vans so I had all my meals in the hotel. "

"The airport shuttle service was convenient. Breakfasts each morning varied. Aunty is an excellent cook. Everything fresh and always had a taste n of Sri Lanka. I did have a problem with mould coming from the air conditioner but it was addressed and the filter cleaned immediately. The last night we had no power from about 8.30pm and still was out at 8.30am when we departed the Hotel. Some rooms still had power. So our last night was uncomfortably hot unfortunately. "

"Hotel was fine for what we were looking for , somewhere to relax for a couple of days after our flight . Hotel is looking a bit tired likewise the rooms , beach bar is good as was breakfast . We didn’t appreciate having workmen outside our room for the duration of our stay !!!"

"Stayed for a week to unwind after a two week cycling tour. We booked a suite for the extra space but what we were allocated was better described as a 2 bed apartment (just as good). It was tucked away at the back of the complex in a corner of one of the well maintained gardens . Initially we were not overly impressed by the outlook but it grew on us as we enjoyed the large terrace and quietness. Rooms are a good size and clean. Fittings basic but functional. The A/C units (1 in each of the bedroom) were effective. Plenty of hot water for the showers and adequate wardrobe space and hangers in the 2 bedrooms. The friendly staff came around regularly with glass bottles of water and took away the empties. However they didn't enter the room to clean. We had to request this and leave the key with reception. Not a problem, but would have been good it this had been made clear when we arrived. Pool area very nice but only around 10 sun beds. Some days the pool was quiet but occasionally a rush of people would arrive so another half dozen would have eased the availability issues. The hotel location is good with the beach and a number of restaurants close by (we didn't use the onsite restaurant at all). Very convenient for the airport. Overall it exceeded our expectations when compared to the much more expensive accommodation we stayed in during our tour. "
