「Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl, wie zwei Prinzessinnen. Und das Abendessen in der Waldschänke war hervorragend. Das Personal war auch sehr nett. Zum Abschied wurden uns noch 2 Demeter Brote und Wasserflaschen für die Autofahrt überreicht.」

With hotter summers having more impact on comfortable room temperatures, fans to move air around in rooms may be a more affordable option with the lack of air conditioning. 」

「Neues und sehr modernes Hotel mit Appartments. Check in geht über einen Automaten was aber reibungslos klappt. Das Frühstück (Wurst, Marmelade, Käse, Joghurt) wird jeden Tag in den Kühlschrank gelegt und frische Brötchen hängen morgens an der Tür. Wir fanden es echt topp - nur der fehlende Duschvorhang war etwas seltsam - ich denke aber wir hatten einfach nur ein rollstuhlgerechtes Zimmer. Also summa summarum ein super Hotel mit einem super Konzept mit wenig Personal auszukommen.」

「Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family; town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center.」
