"Our stay at the Swissôtel Quito was a study in contrasts. While the "hardware"—rooms, breakfast, and security—is objectively excellent, operational shortcomings regarding spa management and a lack of concierge transparency impacted the overall value. Highlights: The rooms are superior, featuring high-end beds, a pillow menu, and soft towels. Room service was precise, and the breakfast buffet—with fresh waffles and churros—is a standout. We appreciated the 4:00 AM "grab-and-go" breakfast and the security team personally escorting us to our car for our airport run. The area is very safe, with a convenient supermarket nearby. Areas for Improvement: The indoor pool was consistently occupied by outside fitness classes, making it unavailable for guest leisure. Being redirected to a cold outdoor pool is inconsistent with five-star standards. Furthermore, the concierge lacked professionalism; car prices to the center fluctuated daily with arbitrary excuses. When we provided calm feedback, the reception's response was dismissive. Local recommendations also felt "outsourced" to a quick search engine rather than expert knowledge. Verdict: Fantastic comfort and location, but the third-party prioritization of the spa and the dismissive service at the front desk prevent this from being a truly premium experience."

"would give this place more stars if I could. Villa De Sant is truly an amazing and incredibly comfortable hotel with a really cool vibe and beautiful artwork throughout the space. From the moment you walk in, it feels welcoming and relaxing. The best part of the experience has been Freddy at the front desk. He is honestly one of the sweetest and kindest people and easily the best front desk staff member l've ever experienced at any hotel. He goes far above and beyond what is normally expected, always being warm, helpful, and genuinely caring about guests. He really makes you feel at home and taken care of and even checked on me when I was away on a group tour before returning back here. They make your breakfast fresh every morning and it's excellent, with good, strong coffee to get your day started haha. Everyone who works here is just so kind and welcoming, and the whole team creates an atmosphere that feels more like family than a hotel. The evening manager is just as warm and charming as Freddy and always helpful. Everyone here has a smile whenever you see them and check on you to make sure everything is good. Highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place with a great atmosphere and truly wonderful people. Centrally located, super easy walk to the Mercado Artesanal and really cheap to Uber everywhere else."

"We loved our visit at this charming family run boutique hotel. The charming staff went out of their way to make our stay special. Our room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The included breakfast was freshly made while we enjoyed a coffee each morning. Located right across the street Ajido park and only a short walk to the metro station. I highly recommend this lovey hotel. "

"Excellent hotel. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I found it very clean, we did not use the gym but it looked very well equipped. We did enjoy the Hot tub, pool, cold plunge, and sauna. The best part as I knew rain was in the forecast, everything was on the roof and covered so you can still utilize everything. Restaurant was pretty good, I found adding the breakfast was worth it for convenience, good selection but it is buffet so i did not expect the best."
