"We did not see any hotel staff face to face hence the bar was closed. The room was cold and the electric heater was inadequate. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the radiator was hot in the shower room. It was self check in and check out. We were grateful having a ground floor room. Thank you "

"Staff very pleasant and helpful, Food very good. Room clean. Overall a very pleasant stay. Only comment would be no heating in room and unable to adjust electric radiator, very cold."

"Unfortunately we were unable to stay at the hotel as the room with disabled access was water damaged. The receptionist did show us other rooms, but these were all unsuitable as their access to bathroom was restricted. The receptionist did however arrange for us to stay at another hotel of the group which was nearby. Excellent service by the recptionist."

"Property was clean however staff could have been more helpful. They wouldn’t let our group of 5 sit together at breakfast although there was an available table because they didn’t want to reset it for lunch. "

"The corridors were dirty and carpets grubby. Looked like they hadnt been vacuumed in a while. Our bedroon curtains dont close enough to ensure total privacy or keep the light out in the morning. Executive Room? I dont think so The whole hotel needs a makeover. I wont be staying here again"

"Very well run establishment, helpful staff, the restaurant dinner was well above average pub standard, good choice of fish main courses. Freshly cooked eggs for breakfast made a nice change in addition to fruit and cereal. Safe parking and easy access from the M1. "
