"Friendly staff, nice hot daily breakfast, same menu every morning. Management said breakfast start at 7:30 but actually starts at 7:45-8:00 AM. Breakfast room has tiny cockroaches crawling all over the place.

Margaritaville Beach Resort - Nassau

"First checking in the front best was not accommodating, the gal behind the desk seem to hate her job which did not put a good start to our vacation. I even asked about a upgrade and was completely ignored.. the servers on the other hand seem to have a better attitude. This Margaritaville is directed more towards the younger ages more than the adults,wish I would have known this beforehand.... not sure I will continue my trips with any Margaritaville hotels. The water park is packed when the cruise ships move in but after 5:00 people disappear including the businesses closing for the day. Even the hotels Bars close at 5 PM including the adult bar by the adult pool."

"The location is very strategic directly across from Junkanoo Beach. The rooms were clean but this property has not been updated, hence the price. I reserved a room with a balcony and the view was as seen in others guest photos. No issues there. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the area and the hotel but I would not stay again. Just remember before you book this hotel - you get what you pay for. If you’re visiting for the first time, I definitely recommend a resort as opposed to this hotel"

"Had a very good 5 day stay at Baha Mar. Check in was easy and our room was very clean. The grounds were very well maintained and the pools and beach area were very nice. We had our 3 year old and found there were a wide array of options for him from entertainment/fun to dining. He enjoyed the Flamingo walk and the aquarium and especially liked the waterpark. We dined at a different place each night and found the food quality to be very good. We brought a bunch of small snacks with us which was handy for our little guy. The TV in your room can give you daily totals of what you are spending if you are trying to keep to a certain budget.
I think Baha Mar can appeal to different people from families to couples and singles. It really depends how you use the the various options.
Quick tip is we found it better to negotiate for transport to and from the airport with the taxis available, pre-booking ran more exspensive.
Baha Mar will be on our list of places to visit again.
