Bug control needed.

The easy access was nice- no check-in required. The room was large enough and the bed comfortable. However, when I couldn't sleep at night and got up to get a snack there were a lot of bugs in the bathroom area. Hard to get back to sleep.

As soon as I got there I tried to turn on the TV and the remote didn't work and the batteries were dead. The staff was very attentive and offered me fresh batteries. I. I then learned that the the Comcast Box was not connected. It looks like the previous occupant went out of his way to sabotage the room..

The room was right next to the pool. Cute decor in the room. Fridge and stove. Absolutely LOVED this place. Cute little hut area that was lit up at night. Would stay again in future visits. Not far away from a bunch of things. Restaurants, ice cream spot, Walgreens if you need it. Even the beaches were super close!

It was quaint but needed some help. They switched our room because the fridge didn’t work but they were helpful. We had to run to Walgreens and buy toilet paper because there wasn’t any. It was clean & quiet and close to the beach.

Wasn't there long before I found a roach crawling around the microwave. I called and they said would give me a refund based on the pictures of proof that I sent them of the roach being in the room and then they denied my refund through Expedia.

Pay attention to Inn / Standard Room vs Villas,

We were a bit disappointed with this place because the reviews and photos were so good, but the reality is, the inn feels very different than the courtyard rooms. When I booked, I didn't realize there was a difference, so that's on me, but I also wouldn't have expected the experience to be that much different. IMO, the inn portion isn't worthy of the 8.0+ rating on here-- the villa / courtyard rooms are probably worthy of that rating. They looked nice when we walked past them and looked inside. The courtyard is beautiful and relaxing. The room in the inn portion felt like a remodeled Motel 6, so not bad but not worth the price we ended up paying. The sleeping area was great. Nice beds. Clean flowers. Nice tv with Roku. The shower had some mold (not terrible, but worth noting). Worse though, the bathtub didn't drain which is kinda gross in hotels. Plugs for microwave and fridge didn't work, which isn't a deal breaker, but again worth noting. Had to throw away our leftovers. Lots of noise traffic on the inn-side. Loud motorcycles could be heard clearly. Staff was friendly when we told them about our issues. I think it's family run / managed. Location is great. Within 2 miles of the main public beach. A little farther to Barefoot Beach. For that reason, we may stay again but will make sure to stay in villas / courtyard rooms.

Good Overall w/ some Pitfalls

The motel itself was nice enough, we were impressed with the beachy vibe interior and modern design. The tiki courtyard was super cute as well. The one downfall was that the tub/shower backed up quite a bit and was really gross to stand in (fungus feet anyone?) and as a "remedy" they sent a kid with a toilet plunger to try and plunge it down - which didn't work. We barely showered during our stay for this reason. I didn't wash my hair the whole time to avoid collecting water. BUT - location was great and the beds were nice etc. Just wish we got a drain that worked or had our room moved to one that did. Customer Service was lacking in that regard, and no one was ever in the front office to help.

The courtyard was adorable! The pool was very quiet as it was a smaller hotel. Our room was decorated well, with a beachy feel. Everything looked new or newly painted. Having the full kitchen was nice. There were several different types of restaurants within walking distance. We were so close to everything we wanted to do. The air conditioner was a little loud, that was the only downside.

Very disappointed!!

This property was really a Motel, room was really basic, there were several cockroaches at the room including bathroom which by the way was on very bad condition. Hotels.com should not offer these properties at all. Very disappointed!!!

SO charming!

I cannot tell you how many times I have driven past this place, and never noticed it until now! We got in late, after driving 8+ hours, we sat by the pool and just enjoyed the breeze, it was so peaceful. The rooms have an updated “beach” feel. There was a refrigerator and a microwave, too which was nice to put drinks in for the beach the next day! We got the room right exit to the road, which was noisy especially 6am.. but the AC kinda helped to block it.. next time I would want a suite which was in a more “quiet” area, and the suites are close to the pool. Check-in was different, it was more of call a phone # and they help you check-in over the phone, which I have never done before, but it was quick. I plan on staying here for a couple of days next time!!

We stayed in one of the villas. It was up to date and very clean. The courtyard is relaxing and beautiful. Didn’t use the pool but looked nice and was not crowded at all. Will definitely stay here again
