The original port of Napier was located in the area of Ahuriri, just beyond the buildings visible on the right of this photo., and was known as the Iron Pot port. This port area has now been superseded by the Breakwater Port, and Ahuriri is home to mainly pleasure boats and inshore fishing vessels, and the old warehouses and stores are now home to restaurants, bars, cafe's, offices and apartments. It was very peaceful this morning standing watching the stars fade and the sun rise, and people arriving to take their boats out for the day. The constellation of Orion is visible in this photo in the centre of the sky.

A genuine oceanfront hotel with an amazing environment—staying here is truly relaxing. Parking is convenient, it’s very quiet at night, and the cleanliness is good as well. I would definitely come back again.

Napier best view to the lake
Napier best view to the lake, very close to nice restaurant, open the window you can see the lake, done stair you have "milk & honey" which is very good restaurant. we stay here for 2 night and very enjoy such slow, quite, small town
