Very fun place to stay, with very comfortable apartment and excellent service. The gym is worth the visit for its own sake.

Great place to stay in Nairobi
Great location and nice staff. Loved having coffee shop, restaurant, room service and salon on site. Apartment could use some more amenities - more glasses in the rooms, light bulbs, extra towels/blankets/pillows, more pots and pans, the basics like salt and pepper, etc I will come back though as it was very comfortable for our group.

The Zanzibar charm of this property was really cool. The convenience of having a bar and tavern within the stay was great, and the staff were very nice and helpful. We would certainly recommend this stay in Nairobi!

I enjoy the ambiance and the kitchenette in the room. My one critique would be that the bedding is not premium, as advertised. There is a bit to be desired on the bed aspect of the stay, but I will continue to return because the location is great and the ambiance is unique.

A unique architectural hotel, not one of those chain cookie cutters. The ambiance is very relaxing. The room we had was a good sized studio, with a kitchen. I don’t know how often people use the kitchen, but I being a celiac like to have that option. We needed a few things and Preet, who manages the place made sure we received them. Was not too impressed with the coffee shop. The bar is fine but food is so so. This will be my hotel to stay in when I am in Nairobi

The hotel is gorgeous and so are the rooms. Unfortunately the sheets were extremely old and smelled. There was no warm water for showers and the kitchen sink stunk. We had to turn on the stove tops for heat because the room was freezing.

The King Post is still one of the best value for money accommodation in a great location in Westlands that I have been to. It is quiet and safe. The architecture of the place is beautiful Mombasa style. The management is extremely accommodating to guests requests. While at the moment the food outlets on the property are closed all other services are operational.

Safe Clean Stay
Beautiful, clean, well appointed apartments. Unfortunately the restaurant and cafe are not open due to covid. Gorgeous pool. Very helpful front staff. Guarded gate 24/7.

It is a very well executed themed property, with a strong coastal style. The apartments are very comfortable and supported by a good variety of amenities - cafe, restaurant, bars, gym, pool, spa, etc.

Wasn’t too pleased. Got a room that had a leaking roof and worse still the rain leak would get to my bed. Secondly my room wasn’t serviced and when I asked was told the they don’t service rooms on Sundays☺️

The look of the property is great. The pool, gym and bar are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. The manager Harish gave a brilliant welcome. Shame about one guest who liked the sound of his own voice talking loudly into the night. Great stay.

I stayed in a very beautiful and comfortable studio. I was amazed when I stepped in. Very easy to feel at home here. There are several eating/dining options on the premises. The gym is great and they have fitness coaches there as well. If you want to use the pool note that it is small and there isnt really much space to hang out pool side. Also, all patrons to the pub and restaurant will pass by the pool area which I think creates too much traffic for it to be private enough. The location is definitely great. Short Uber or taxi ride to all dining, bars, clubs and shopping in Westlands. I would consider staying here again.

The rooms were nice. Had a few issues with the toilets. Toilet and bath areas could use an upgrade Food from restaurant and coffee shop was very good. Prices reasonable. Serious issues wit internet access. Was very spotty and only worked in certain rooms.

Lots of character and charm
I was very pleased to stay at the King Post. This place a lot of character and charm and this is true for its the common areas of the hotel and especially true for the inside of the rooms. The gym is actually famous for the locals and the spa treatments are very good. Finally the restaurant has a very good cuisine.

Pros: Good wifi connection, good restaurant, good service, full gym and workout facility, looked great, clean, friendly staff, large tv, affordable. Cons: toilets were too loud and would waste a lot of water and leaked a lot of water on the floor, maintenance said that they would fix the toilet but did not, pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, the area is not close to other restaurants or stores or any attractions.

Excellent place. Clean, comfortable, spacious, secure. Not a lot going on in the neighborhood, which means it's quiet but also requires taxi to get around. No taxi stand nearby, but uber is reasonable and quick. Laundry service might be a touch pricey, but quick turnaround. The restaurant has a rather limited menu, and is very expensive (and slow at breakfast time). Better option for breakfast is the Java House on Waiyaki Way (right on Rhapta Rd., then first right, keep to left when that road splits, then just to the right on Waiyaki - 5-10 minute walk). For dinner, try Pride Inn hotel just across the street. Otherwise, we loved our stay.

Clean, safe and comfortable
Really nice and secure compound. Decorations were in traditional Swahili style, which gave it a cool ambiance. Property was well maintained and the staff were very friendly. These are essentially serviced apartments, so the office hours are very limited and normal hotel type services/amenities aren't necessarily available. However, we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe and the value for the money was excellent. The only inconvenience was a lack of hairdryer in the room and they didn't have one they could provide. Otherwise, great stay. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.

Lovely idea with the themeing but the property is not well maintained. We had intermittent internet, TV that was very old and had bad reception. The pool looks good very cold and in a shaded area without any sun loungers. There are a lot of mosquitos and almost impossible to keep them out in the living area as there are big gaps between the balcony doors where they get in.

I stayed in the Changuu 3 apartment and unfortunately the neighbours (in other compound) 3 dogs kept barking quite a lot, especially if owners left dogs alone
