The reception to this hotel is beautiful and grand, however the rooms are shabby in comparison. The rooms are european style so the floor was tiled like in spanish houses, but it made the room feel more cold and unwelcoming, and overall gave it a tired appearance. One of the plug sockets was broken, the bed was a bit rickety and on the smaller side (normal for Japan, but not for the price we paid). The single pillows given were absolutely awful. Also the sound proofing between the room and the main hall is awful, and you can easily hear passersby outside. Can't talk about breakfast as we didn't have it but it was quite pricey. The staff were perfectly pleasant; cannot complain about them at all.

The hotel is old and worn. The hallway carpet is beat snd stained. The shower was dirty not just mildew stained, but dirty. The tile floor and baseboards were dirty. The chairs in the room were worn out and uncomfortable. We were so uncomfortable we checked out a day early and lost the cost of one night’s lodging.

Nice stylish hotel, well located near Glover's Garden. A bit away from the main train station, however, worth the stay. Walking distance to Dejima and Chinatown. Would certainly stay again, only would select the larger room.

Terrific quiet hotel & they host weddings here.
Service was great, directions to local sights was helpful. Tram tickets for all day fares were available at the front desk. The restaurant buffet breakfast was a delightful experience of Japanese foods with Western additions. We would love to return.

Take some time to read this. If you wish to have a nightmare, do feel free to book this hotel. I booked a family room wiyj 4 beds. What the hotel did was to squeeze 4 beds into a room. This is fine for me. But problem is safety issue. The last bed squueze till the edge of a window which the closing is moveable object. Who sleeping there having a risk to knock into it. The central 2 beds, obviously there is a lamp but the hotel don't care and just sqeeuze in and middle of 2 beds is a wall lamp. No electric hazard issue? Staffs need to learn how to smile please. No one owe you all any money here. Hotel carpark is 1800 yen where you can park opposite at 1100 yen.

It is situated in a quiet part of the town. It is within walking distance to Glover Garden and China town. It is near a tram station. It is European styled. Rooms are spacious by Japanese standards. Parking is available but it charges a very high parking fee of 1800yen per day. The staff is friendly and professional.

excellent breakfast buffet with lots of food choices; the location is also nice as it is close to Oura Catholic Church, Glover Garden, Dejima. Though a little bit far from Nagasaki Station the taxi fare is cheap to get here.

Location is near Dutch Slope. Can walk to Chinatown, Temple Row and other sites in downtown area. 8-10 min taxi ride to train station. Free WiFi. Rooms are compact. Can buy breakfast tickets - beautiful dinning room. Beautiful bldg.

Near to station. There are two combini nearby which is Daily Yamazaki and Seven Eleven. Walking distance to Oura Church and Dutch slope. There is free shuttle bus to inasa mountain ropeway station which require appointment (this service is not provided by hotel. Just happened that one of the bus stop is nearby hotel). Didnt take the free shuttle bus and regretted because the ropeway station is quite a distance from tram station
