Waited till my trip of Japan was over to write a review. This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in our whole 3 week stay in Japan. Not only was the hotel filthy, I was charged an extra 23,000 yen for my wife to stay in the room with me!!! This is after already being charged 24000 yen for a room barely worth 10,000. I then reached out to the hotel to ask if they could refund the last half as this was an unfair way to do business. They still have not responded. Honestly the worst experience in Japan period!!! Avoid this place.

Avoid if possible
The hotel is dated and not clean. When we arrived, the hotel's front desk is on the second floor of the building and the escalator from the ground floor to the second floor was broken. We had to carried our luggage from the ground floor to the front desk by the stairs. When we got into our room, the A/C was not working. They did not allow us to open the window. They ended up sending a electric fan to our room to keep us cool. It was not worth the amount of money we paid, $180usd, for the one night stay.

Good value
This hotel has a great location and you can see it as you exit the train station. It has several convenience stores and restaurants nearby. You can take advantage of the 10th floor facilities to relax in massage chairs for free. The pillow in the room was very hard for my liking but they had softer pillows upon request. The staff are very helpful, kind, and organized. There is everything you might need like toiletries, face masks, and ear plugs for free downstairs. Overall, it's a good value.

Basic but more than adequate
Basic and a little dated but more than adequate for a one or two night stay. I would not hesitate in staying here again. Espresso machine in the lobby next to reception makes an excellent cappuccino and the location opposite the Nagano train station is ideal.

The hotel near the train station just 3 mins walk
Very comfortable place for travelers. It’s located so near to theNagano Station. There’s a convenience store in front of the hotel. There are some small shopping complexs around. Many restaurants near it.

checkin staff were unable to find my booking at first. the specific staff that handle my checkin seem confused. however, overall the hotel was really nice. very close to JR Nagano Station. bed was extremely comfortable. hotel have restaurant on 10 floor with really nice view. Cheap breakfast buffet option (did not take as we leave very early in morning). Free Dinner Buffet - really nice. (this info was not on hotel.com at time of my booking. but I found out on hotel official site) TV limitted to only Japanese channel.

Our 2 day weekend stay
The bed was very small for 2 adults and on Saturday night, even on the 7th floor, we could hear the noise from party goers below. On the plus side, they have an above average selection for breakfast and the free dinner is a plus. Their coffee machine at the reception serves nice mocha. Many shops nearby and a short walk to the JR Nagano station

Having booked and paid for 3 people, we were given a room with the smallest double bed (corresponding to a king single bed in Australia). Unbelievably, we had to discuss the issue that 3 people need 3 beds, for over one hour - via google translator and sketches. None of the 4 staff at reception could or would speak even basic English. In the end we were 'upgraded' to a bigger room, with two single beds! On top of this, the hotel was very noisy all night, with noise coming from the corridor, the lift and the outside.

Good location, spacious room. We got offered a free dinner but were away for skiing. Comfy bed, nice shampoo and shower gel. However breakfast needs to improve.

Older hotel across from Train Station
We exited the station from the East side and paid a Taxi 800 YEN to take us across the street where the Hotel faces the opposite exit. Big mistake. The hotel is a bit shabby, especially the bathroom, had a HUGE massage chair blocking the window and the usual Japanese small space. The bedding was clean

とにかく部屋が暑くてエアコンつけるも冷房出来ずフロントに連絡したら簡易的な小さな扇風機を貸してくれた。あまり効果がなく４月なのに夜汗をかくほどの暑さ。翌日長野マラソンの為体調を整えたかったのに少し残念だった。駅近で便利だが、高いお金を払って予約したのに残念な印象しかない。

駅前立地以外はかなり厳しいかと思います。 エスカレーター故障？停止中。 ユニットバス　ボロボロ。狭く小さい。 エアコン効きは良かったが調節はあまり自由が利かない。 隣室の水回りの音なども少々気になります。 故障気味のマッサージチェアが部屋に置いてある。 スタッフの方の対応は悪くはない。 食事はしていないので、客室以外はわかりません。 それなりの観光地お値段でした。

古めかしい感じ
フロントスタッフさんはとても好感が持てます。しかし、部屋が昔の？お部屋のようで良くなかったです。泊まったお部屋はダブルルームのダブルベッドタイプのお部屋でした。 まずは部屋に隙間風が入り寒かった。 お風呂（シャワー）は極狭 設備で椅子があるのだが脚が壊れていて今にも倒壊しそう。置かない方が良い。危ない 隣の声が丸聞こえで隣がうるさかった。 駅前なので利便性は良いのだが、夜中まで騒いでいる声も聞こえて寝れなかった。 もう使わないと思う

駅前でわかりやすく価格もお手頃でよかったです。フロントの方も親切で感じが良かったです。残念なのは選ばれた部屋が裏側でカーテンを開けると隣のビルで全く景色が見えない。駅側と裏側の違いでテンションがガク落ちでした。冷蔵庫から異音がするなど多少劣化を感じました。でも帰りはフロントの方がお見送りしてくれて好印象でした。
