I had an amazing stay at this beachfront hotel! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the ocean with breathtaking views. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I especially loved the on-site dining options and the easy access to the beach. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, and I can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed my stay , the downfall of my stay is that I booked 3rd party so I didn’t get any housekeeping my pull out bed the zipper cover had stains on it, my tvs didn’t work the WiFi code they gave me didn’t work. But other than that it was nice .

THIS WAS AN AWEFUL EXPERIENCE FOR MYSELF AND MY CHILDREN the staff were rude mainly the manager audrey at the front desk she was loud rude unkind and aggressive very disrespectful and unable to handle her clear lack of self control.I will never come to this hotel ever again.

Never went to Coral beach, we were told that beach vacation is going to put us in Caravelle Resort. We get locked in a hotel room and waited 2 hours for someone to come and get us out. Then person had to change a lock in the hotel room and we had to wait another 2 hours for him to come back because our hotel room was wide open. NOT CORAL REEF BUT CARAVEVELLE RESORT HOPE Expedia comes through with this and do the right thing.

We have been going to Myrtle Beach for the last eight years in advertently. Somehow our reservations went through beach vacations instead of directly Coral Beach resort so the staffing was very rude. The room was atrocious with wire sticking out of the wall. We were not allowed to purchase anything from their store or any of their in-house restaurants nor we able to purchase drinks from the tiki bar.

The room was advertised incorrectly. You cannot even use the coffee shop unless you book directly through Coral Beach Resort. Since the room we got was individually owned we were not able to purchase from the restaurant, the coffee shop, or the snack area. This was a very bad experience.

Cable didn't work in bedroom. Microwave handle was broken. Stove didn't work. Only had a half of roll of toilet paper, had to go purchase some.

Overall the property was good value for the cost, no major complaints, things were a bit dated, but it was clean. If you book here do be very careful that you are not doing it through a third party company. We booked through Expedia and ended up renting from a company called "Atlantica" and had to go check in at a different resort almost 10 min away. Because of this, we were treated like second class citizens at Coral Beach. We still had access to our room and the pool facilities, those are the big things of course, but we were not allowed to buy drinks at the tiki bar or use any of the other amenities. Not a huge deal, but it was not ideal.

Roaches & Unsafe Conditions

At first the room seemed nice but then we came across multiple issues. 1 - there is no lock for the main door to get into the room, the door does have a code that has to be entered but still needs a lock. 2 - the balcony door also has no lock, major safety concern. 3 - the closet with extra bedding was a disaster, everything unfolded & shoved in and was unable to be used. 4 - ROACHES. Yes, roaches. Unfortunately we didn’t see them until the 2nd day of being there but as soon as we did I called & was told an exterminator could come the next day, I said no we need to be moved into a different room ASAP - thankfully they did. 5 - when booking through hotels.com you have 0 access to any amenities or restaurants other than the pools. No gift shop, Starbucks, food or anything. Not even front desk or maintenance. 6 - minor issue, but none of the tvs channels worked and WiFi was barely working. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone else nor would I ever return. I truly didn’t want to stay the night in the “new” room after seeing the roaches but it was already late & we had no options. I definitely believe I spent way too much money on this hotel for the quality of room we had.
