"Nicely decorated room, some obvious wear and tear!! No amenities to make cup of tea like premier inn or other hotels which is an inconvenience when checking out early. Pillows are rock hard and when i removed from pillowcase it was like an armchair infill folded up and not actually a pillow!! Disappointing to be charged city tax in my own city! Premier inn don’t and you get comfortable pillows and drink making amenities!! Wouldnt book this hotel again! "

"Not having an onsite parking is troublesome. Although parking is available across the street but need to pay £13 per day and will need to pay additional if you leave the parking and re enter each time. Rest the staff and hotel is excellent. Will definitely book again except for the parking issue"

"Clean room quite unique fun rooms. Staff friendly staying for 2 nights we had an issue on first night as they over booked so room was not suitable but moved easily for second night. Staff apologised and were very friendly. Bar area was nice. Very central great location would use again"

"Amazing place, clean, friendly, nothing too much trouble. Excellent food. So easy to get from train station. 10/15 min walk or use the free bus from the station. Goes around the city takes about 20/25 mins to get to Shudehill stop. Off the bus two min walk up the road and the hotel is there. Everything is accessible to walk to. We dined at 20 Stories restaurant well recommend. 22 min walk from the Crown Plaza. Cheaper to stay than premier inn and far better. Service impeccable"

"The room was like a sauna when we got in there, the heating had been left on and windows were closed. It’s the most basic room. The bed squeaked every time you moved and the pillow was thin. It was an uncomfortable night. The shared bathroom was dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling. Would not stay again"

"If you’re looking for a basic stay for the night then this property will be ok. There were lots of repairs needed and the wardrobe looked like it was going to collapse as well as the radiator about to fall off the wall. The room needed a complete revamp."
