"Lovely hotel in a great location for shopping. Staff came across slightly rude or disinterested at times. Housekeeping was always done on time and well. No real amnesties other than coffee machine on rooftop. Breakfast can be ordered at the front desk to be delivered the next morning."

"The Lamaro is wonderfully situated right in the Gothic Quarter, on the square with the Barcelona Cathedral. It has a lovely rooftop bar/restaurant. It is easy to walk from there to the El Born and Eixample neighborhoods."

"Complained about the room we got. You close the bathroom doors and you can still see your family member in shower. We got given a new room and that room was worse. Shower wall was complete glass which was wall in middle of room. Most stupid designed hotel room bathrooms I've ever seen. Won't return because of this"

"We didn’t use any of the amenities at the Majestic hotel. We were over across the street in the larger apartment with its own private patio, which was very nice. The room had two air units was quiet, dark enough, and my daughter‘s room and pretty dark when you close the curtain in the master we felt safe with key access outside door to street and needing a key to access elevator. Room was quiet and very large."

"We enjoyed this hotel as it is close to many attractions, dining, and shopping. About 1.5 miles from the Port for our cruise. We stayed one night before our cruise and the room was a nice size with a balcony. After our cruise we retuned and stayed two nights. The room was much smaller no view. Disappointed. However, the overall experience was great."

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful; included breakfast was good. Room was very clean, but basic and we missed having coffee service in the room; however, the bathroom was spacious (especially for European standards :) with excellent water pressure. A/C and heating (it was hot during the day and cool at night) both worked very well. Location was great! Would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Barcelona!"
