「Isolated and does not feel safe to sleep as we are new to the environment. What if an intruder get's in? When we came in there was no hot water. When we reported that we had to call the Plumber. Aren't we supposed to be on holiday? Then the Plumber said he will come tomorrow morning. There is no Wifi and mobile reception is poor. They show a swimming pool in the promotion but it is not maintained. There are frogs in it. The price is too high for unmanaged property with unusable swimming pool,...

「Our cottage at The Black Sparrow was cosy and warm for our winter getaway. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It was quiet and set in a beautiful location. We arrived when it was dark, so the narrow dirt roads were a little difficult to navigate and additional lighting might have helped. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, very peaceful and private and just as close to Mt Buller for skiing as the more expensive Mansfield. Thanks!」

「All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd.
