"Budget friendly, clean and quiet hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful and there were a few food options close by. The room was huge. There was no telephone in the room not that we needed one anyway. We spent one night passing through and it was perfect. We ate at Fern‘s Café and had a wonderful experience during our stay."

"Our experience in Cabin 17 was not good. It was cold, there was no apparent heat source. The extra blankets reeked of mildew and were unusable. The tv did not work. We got no sleep. There was no regular coffee- just decaf. We had to leave in the early morning just to get in the car to get warm. I can’t get the sleep back but want my money back!"

"View was fantastic and it was so close to the beach you could just walk to it! However the room was not clean. There were also notes posted all over the room warning you of fines if f you did certain things, and although it’s good to communicate, it also didn’t make me feel relaxed and able to enjoy the stay. I would love to stay in Oceanside again but will look for different accommodations."

"Our stay was the first time we had been to Pacific City. The hotel was perfectly placed in the center of town with lots of local shops and places to eat. The owner was SO friendly and helpful when deciding where to eat or what to do. The garden in the back is lovely and a pefect place for the pups to use the restroom. We saw it was for sale and are super sad to see the current owner possibly leave. However, we will absolutely be back."

"Second year in a row we have stayed. Love the ocean view from our room and the sound. Clean and maintained only thing is under the beds could have been cleaned better…two dirty socks under one bed that had been there a while however will not let that deter us from staying again! Staff was helpful and super friendly!"

"The property is very “tired”…worn furniture and carpets. When we tried to turn on the tv, it didn’t work, when we tried to call the front desk, the phone was dead. When tracked down, the maintenance man was able to get them working. No blackout shades to keep the bright lights out of room. Breakfast was marginal."
