First the good - the location was amazing, the hotel was modern and well designed, and the in-room amenities were good.
On the "bad" side, we like a hotel with breakfast, but found out when we arrived that the staff discouraged taking breakfast because it "took too long." Everything in the hotel but the rooms was small - the lobby, the hallways, the elevator, the showers, but the bar/lounge/breakfast area was very small and window-less. The room was large enough, but laid out strangely, with the two double beds jammed in a corner so one person had to crawl in from the bottom. There was also a dining table that only made sense under the hanging lamp, but seemed to be in the way. And finally the bathroom was nicely done, but very, very small, with a glass door that didn't fully close and provided NO acoustic privacy. The shower was only 60 cm wide.
If you can deal with the bad, this is a nice choice within walking distance of just about everything in Munich. It's quite far from Oktoberfest, but an easy walk to the subway. If they had put the beds where almost every other hotel would put them and if they had a decent on-site breakfast, this would have been a five star place, despite the tiny bathroom with the glass door.
