Indian Creek trail is a 4.7 mile in/out hike along bluffs and rocky creeks. Follow the trail to find Copperhead Falls, Tunnel Cave falls and many unnamed waterfalls and caves. The hike requires scrambling along edges of bluffs, and wading through the icy creek. Continue farther along the trail and hike to the Eye of the Needle (a gem in itself). A challenging hike, but worth the reward!

The gushing white stream makes its presence known. At the end of this trail, you are graciously greeted by the rushing sounds of Indian Creek Canyon Falls. With the help of the green rope tied to the base of a tree, you can scramble the cliff and continue your hike to Eye of the Needle.
Lined by scalloped rocks, is this natural "bathtub". This deep pool will fill with icy water after a good rain.
Steel Creek campground. They have spots for horses and tent camping.

This room should have cost half of what I paid based on the conditions of the room. Seedy is a nice way to describe my room. Very cool hike with a 200 foot waterfall at the end .. the hike is different than most because on the way there you're dropping elevation and it's mostly down hill. The way back takes a bit longer since you're going all up hill. Wear good hiking sneakers. Bring plenty of water especially for the hike back. Follow the trail. Don't try to take any short cuts cuz they aren't short cuts I promise haha
