"This is an old building. It reminds me of the one that the homeless people stay in in downtown Portland. Apparently, if you use the toilet paper in your room, they charge you an amenity fee. Lots of stairs. There are lots of other places to stay."

I think the housekeeper must have been called away from cleaning my room because the garbage bag was on the TV stand with the extra roll of bags setting beside it and the clean towels sitting on the counter in the bathroom.
