「What an amazing place, and a really fantastic team, too. From the welcome at reception to everyone we interacted with in the bar and restaurant, the people running the place were the stars of the show, even with such a stunning location, great pool and wonderful rooms. The restaurant menu is terrific - heavy because it really represents the Alentejo and that rich, country cuisine, but beautifully presented and delicious in every example we tried. 「This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful. It would serve perfectly as a retreat and invites meditation. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there's a big TV in a common room. The building also houses artwork and small museums. It's a bit isolated. The restaurant wasn't open the night we were there, but we had a lovely dinner at a restaurant 700 meters away. You can also go to the castle for dinner. The hotel breakfast...
