Nice old heritage house with large spacious bedrooms and lots of common areas to use, living rooms with couches and places to relax and a large kitchen. We stayed in the Tartan room which had a large bathroom with clawfoot bath. The bed was a bit old and saggy so not the most comfortable, but the room was large and spacious with comfortable sofa and chairs. The decor of the house outside and inside was a little tired and in the need of an uplift.

Colhurst House is proper luxury accommodation at a pretty reasonable price. The bed was excellent, and the downstairs bathroom was the most luxurious I have ever seen. Parking is easy.

No frills budget room with a bed and a clean bathroom in a 150 year old quirky little mansion. The "breakfast served daily" note in this Expedia listing is to be interpreted as served downtown in the restaurant of your choice (and paid for by you) LOL. The vibe here is memorable and the history is fascinating. We loved our stay.

Wicked spot to stay , we had a beautiful room with an excellent bathroom , nice comfortable bed , nothing like having a fire place in your bedroom on a cool night . In the morning even the birds didn’t wake us up so for all the people looking for comfort at a little more than a good motel room this is the spot .
