「5 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes walk to town centre, staff were average, not active enough, could be better. Room was big , but accessories could be improved」

「Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. 」

It was lovely and quiet at night & breakfast in the coffee bar was fresh and delicious. It’s a great base for visiting local attractions.」

「The Hotel does need renovation to compete with newly build hotel chain. The room size is descend, but the furniture is old and has many scratch. If can do some renovation, I am sure can bring back many more customers.」

「What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need. You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine. Highly recommend this place for a quick stop off like myself, or a base to...
