"One of the best in Taree. I've stayed at a few properties in Taree for work in 2026 so far. Hands down the most luxurious and cleanest. The couple running it are lovely and go above and beyond. Everything was spotless. Clean linen, clean frigde, clean utensils, clean floor and more. It was immaculate. I especially loved the back outside area along the garden as an extra space to relax. With having a back door it brought the inside in. Having to spend so much time at the motel I was able to enjoy more of the daylight while in my room. It is close to Taree shopping centres and activities. This lovely motel is wonderful and won't disappoint. I've attached some pictures. Very clean and well looked after for an older style motel. They have certainly added many modern amenities and style to the rooms. Inlcudes a smart TV or Chromecast. Book, you won't be disappointed. Book else where you are running the risk of a big let down. Talking from experience. 5 stars and well deserved!"

"Location was lovely, nice walks along the river. ( Spotted a Grey Nurse shark). Enjoyed a meal at the bowls club nearby with discount from the motel. Drove to Port Macquarie and had a lovely time there. Went to the Koala rescue centre too. Room on the small side, had to live out of suitcase due to tiny wardrobe etc. Although there was a microwave, fridge & kettle it was all a tight fit. Try for a larger room. Pleasant staff."

"Filthy and completely unacceptable. Do not stay here. This place looks nothing like the photos. I understand older style motels, but there's no excuse for the level of filth here, old can still be clean, and this absolutely wasn't. The room clearly hasn't had a proper clean in a long time. There was heavy build up of grime and dust around the base of the toilet, and the shower hadn't been cleaned at all, hair throughout the recess and visible grime in the grout. The recess was damp when I checked in, as though some one had showered and left before I arrived. The fridge was also in poor condition, with spills and residue that hadn't been wiped out for quite some time. Even the front of the TV and microwave had marks and splatters on them. Coffee and tea was on offer but no coffee or teacups? The only positive was that the linen appeared clean, which I made sure to check. The setup of the room is also impractical, the TV faced the opposite wall, not the bed, so you're forced to sit on an uncomfortabel chair to watch it. The only window is the beside the door which faced into a small common courtyard. If you had your curtain open, the room opposite or people walking past can see straight into yours. No bedside table either. I spoke with other guests in passing during my stay, and they shared the same experience. And the kicker is, this cost me $157 a night! If you are looking for a clean budget friendly option go to Crescent Motel or Marco Polo, much better! "

"I loved everything about my stay at Halliday’s Point holiday park. Daisy and I were made very welcome. Our cabin was perfect for the two of us. I had great coffee from the coffee truck each morning. The beach up the road was paradise. I wish I’d stayed a week, and next time I will. She says woof! Woof!"
