10/10 Excellent

"The staff was so nice! The pool area was so cute and convenient. $50 deposit for king room. Not bad at all! We were shocked. It’s also maybe a 15 minute drive to downtown Cincinnati and the hard rock casino! We had a great time. Would definitely recommend!"

"We booked this hotel to USE the pool and HOT? TUB . While there were some issues on a prior visit-they were resolved. So we chose this hotel again. Our primary reason for booking this was the hot tub and pool. The pool was green and very cold think mountain stream in winter. The hot tub was tepid and green and generally dirty. Are they waiting for Shrek to visit?? A shame for such a lovely place well designed and nice tile. The bathroom tub needs Clorox, The bathroom floor had short black hairs on it. The ice bucket had who knows what residue and flecks of food in it!! Fan in the bathroom has NO cover and is extremely dusty as in caked on dirt. The sink has no stopper. My brother was in this room last year in August and these two items were still was untouched from that visit. Breakfast we arrived abt 15 minutes before it was to close. (As did another 2 families). Only 3 eggs No sausage and someone went in and began cooking. So good at least my husband can have some protein. NO the breakfast area closed and all the eggs and sausage the person was cooking was put out on a table for all family members of this family run hotel. BEWARE if you have a handicap the beds are barely accessible for the able bodied people they are so high."

"The staff was nice, but that was about it. First day we checked in got woken up at 3am by people screaming and arguing. They were slamming doors and running up and down the hallway and smoking Marijuana in the hallway. This lasted about 3 hours. Also the a/c made an intermittent clacking noise all night and did nit cool the room like it should have. I thought surely someone will come up and tell them to cut it out but no one did. We were so tired we tuffed it out until the morning as we had a long day traveling. In the morning I went down to the front desk and explained the situation to the gentleman and all he said was are you serious and apologized. He did not say they would look into the situation or anything like that. I asked if we can please move rooms he moved us to the 6th floor from the 2nd floor. We get into that room after moving all of our stuff only to find out the fridge is not working. I go back downstairs to the front desk and let them know. He says their maintenance guy had already came for the week and he will have to move us rooms again. So we move all of our stuff again. Get to the 3rd room then had to deal with Marijuana smell coming into our room for the next 2 days. So much for having a non smoking room. I stayed at this property a couple of years ago with no issues. It is sad to see how downhill it has gone. Will definitely NEVER stay there again."
