"We had the most restful nights sleep, with the windows open and the sound of the river. This was our 2nd stay at Nicky's and we will stay there again."
"Great cabin for a great stay in Grand Lake! Walking distance to the lake and all the shops and restaurants in town.
The cabin was clean and had all of the essentials needed. Communication with the host and the check in process was easy."
"It has beautiful views! Lots of activities for families. Need to know more about where to house people that have challenges with walking and climbing stairs."
"The front dest attendant, Preston rocks! He made it fun upon arrival for my twins.
The food was okay for dinner. The outdoor music was a hit for the family. Overall it was a great experience."
"We booked the big 8-BR Elk cabin and 2 other smaller cabins for a family reunion. All were nice…the carpet in the Elk was kinda old & had some stains on it and the floor in the main living room seemed a little uneven but beds & bathrooms were clean. We brought a lot of food and wondered why the refrigerator in the kitchen wasn’t working; then realized it wasn’t plugged in! It worked then but leaked a bit; we reported that to maintenance. Loved the screened porch with the porch swing! Rocked the babies on that a lot! A few of us used the pool; it was a bit chilly but a beautiful setting. Several took advantage of the sale on apparel in the lobby—good deals! We booked the ADA cabin which was more expensive than a regular half cabin & it was not good for someone who has trouble walking because the ramp up to the front door was very long. I guess if the person was in a wheelchair it would be ok to push them up the ramp but not as easy as I expected. The last night those of us who were left went to eat in the restaurant. Good food although I thought the bacon appetizer was too fatty. And the prices were pretty high for family dining.
Loved the views and the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff was helpful & responded quickly to text messages (bringing more tissues to the cabin, etc)."
