"The owner was super helpful with insider tips for the area. She shared a bunch of places to see and things to do.
Really close to the canyon and nice area."
"Great location for visiting the Black Canyon, clean, good fridge, tasty breakfast options, and nearby breweries - would stay here again if I visit this place again. "
"This place is a gem. It’s tucked away in the cute little town of Crawford. It’s quiet, the room is beautifully furnished with nice little touches like a hot pot for tea, in addition to coffee. Highly recommend it!"

I've always liked Montrose ever since our first visit back in 2003. It is a town that is big enough to have everything you might need when traveling, but not too big. It is a convenient jump off location for the Black Canyon and much more.

Montrose is much bigger than we originally imagined. It is also developing. It is close to tourist attractions, is easy to access. It is booming.

My parents and sister live in Montrose and we visit often (we live in Longmont). I like visiting Montrose and it has quite a bit to offer during the summer months. My 10 year old gets super bored during the trips we make in winter time.

"This hotel is comfortable, and in a perfect location to show your 'true grit' on the legendary roads in the area. Colorado is known for its beauty, and the view around Ridgway and Ouray might be the best of it.
The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good. Ridgway has some cool little spots to check out as well. I'll probably stay here again someday. "
"The hotel was in a great location. Very easy to walk to shops and activities. The room was small but had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions. The free breakfast and free parking was an added plus. We would definitely stay there again."
"We stayed here before a canoe trip down the Gunnison River the staff moved our whole party to the first floor so that we didn't have to carry coolers and all of our equipment upstairs it was awesome"
