TL:DR, I’ll stay there again whenever I need to be downtown on a budget, For the price, I’d be a fool to complain; I’ve stayed in worse places that were three times as expensive. The room was clean, warm, and well lit. The staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable, the duvet and cover were super nice, the pillow was fluffy. The bathrooms felt a bit dingy, but were clean, well-stocked, and in perfect working order. Let me put it this way: considering the location AND the price, this is an incredible bargain. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

I chose this hotel because it was one of the most affordable options in the area, so I wasn't expecting luxury. However, I did expect basic cleanliness. The positives: the staff allowed us to check in early which we appreciated. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, and the room included a microwave and a small refrigerator.Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious housekeeping issue. On our second night, we discovered that the bed sheets appeared not to have been changed before our arrival. There were visible hairs on the sheets that did not belong to either of us. We reported it, but the front desk told us that no clean sheets would be available until the next morning because housekeeping had already left. As a result, we had to sleep that night on bedding we believed had been used by previous guests. The sheets were replaced the next morning, but this should never have happened.Housekeeping was also inconsistent in other ways. We arrived to find the toilet paper roll already less than half full, with no spare roll provided. No washcloths were available, and towels and toiletries were provided very sparingly. The building is old, there is no elevator, and carrying luggage to the fourth floor through narrow staircases was difficult.Overall, this hotel may work if your only priority is finding a very inexpensive place to stay. However, clean bedding and basic supplies are not luxury amenities—they are the minimum every guest should expect.

Affordable hostel in Montreal

The bed and the shower were good. Danny was helpful with the check in. The hostel needs some repairs, but the bedroom three was good. Dulce, the manager, is an OK person. I was surprised with the check in process, but overall everything was OK for a two night stay.
