"Betyget på detta boende är enligt oss för högt. Svårt att komma i kontakt med personalen. En person som arbetar själv i receptionen. Receptionen var endast öppen vissa tider och inte ens då hittade man personalen alltid. Dessutom helt stängd en dag i veckan. "One of the most accessible ski hotel/residences we have ever stayed at. The carpets to the learner slopes are no more than 30 paces from the boot room door. The property has lifts to and from the ski school, the boot room lockers are enormous (plenty of room for helmets, boots, gloves, skis, poles - all heated) The spa facilities are also super accessible from the lifts with robes and slippers in each room. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we were in the residence but the drinks menu and lobby...

"The only issue is trying to bring luggage into the hotel. The front desk is up stairs, no elevator. However, this location is fabulous. Would certainly come again."

"We loved our stay. The room and all facilities, including the spa, were clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We only had the breakfast one day, but it was great, lots of choice and not bad value given the prices in Chamonix. We absolutely loved being able to nip down to the spa every evening and relax following active days. We loved the balconies with gorgeous views. The location was great. We parked in the public parking next door and walked to everything during our stay. We would definitely stay again."

"As a fan of Freddie, a stay at The Freddie Mercury when in Montreux is a must. It's campy, and fun and you can't not smile in the public areas. As a rather fussy hotel guest, I had no real issues. There isn't air conditioning, but there is some air circulation. The rooms are basic, but how much time do you plan on spending in there? The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is reasonable for the price (on demand omelettes and lots of variety). It was clean enough, though there is some wear starting to show. The staff was very helpful. Most of all, the location is amazing and on the train station platform (you can hear the trains from your room if you're on that side, but it's a soft/gentle woosh every now and then). I'm so glad I stayed there. Thank you!"

"We had a fantastic stay at La Folie Douce in Chamonix. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the town centre and with easy access to the slopes, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with great facilities and a lively atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They always went out of their way to assist with any questions or requests and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Now that we have stayed at this hotel in Chamonix we wouldnt go to another one and would highly recommend La Folie Douce to anyone visiting Chamonix."
