We booked a single night here at the very last minute trying to escape the heat of the west coast beach towns. We were so glad we did. This hotel is absolutely stunning. We had one of the rooms upstairs from the lobby rather than one of the bungalows but the room was amazing with a spacious first floor, kitchenette, balcony and a very cool loft bedroom/bath. The grounds, particularly the park right next to the hotel, are stunning as is the view of the ocean and Nicoya Peninsula in the...

Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had in my life. The tiny house was clean, wonderfully decorated. It included snacks and some small gifts that made the stay even more special. The bed and linens were amazingly comfortable. It was wonderful to sit outside in the hot tub or inside by the fire. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Beautiful place to stay. nothing bad to say. easy to get to and find.

Good place for staying in Monteverde, the owners are really nice, the place is super cool, has an amazing jacuzzi perfect for the weather, and the house is big two rooms with two baths! Don’t hesitate more and rent immediately, you will never regret. Kindly regards. CR

So cool. Totally different than a hotel but just as clean. If you go to Monteverde, USE A 4X4. And do Extremo Canopy. I also heard 100% Adventure was really good but Extremo was the coolest thing in 20 days we've done in CR.

The Tityra Lodge exceeded expectations - we can't wait to stay again!

No words I can write could ever do this place justice. The views are unbelievable and the amenities in the room go above and beyond expectations! There were umbrellas, card games, a telescope for looking at the stars, an outside lounge net, a hot tub on the balcony, and even the shower had a window with an amazing view! Alex was so welcoming and friendly! He recommended the best dining spots and brought us on a night-walking tour and a guided tour of the Monteverde Hanging Bridges!

It was an absolutely amazing place to stay at! Everyone was so kind and helpful! The property really felt like heaven on earth. The views were gorgeous, their oasis was relaxing and amazing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately impressed by the property's beauty and felt right at home in our cabin. The cabin was remarkably spacious and immaculately clean, offering every amenity we needed. As a family-owned and operated complex, the property is expansive and boasts beautifully maintained lawns and a sunset lookout within walking distance. The property is a short drive from the town center. Roy communicated with us throughout our stay, providing helpful tips before and after our...

Very prompt responses and issues were resolved quickly.

Our family of 4 (11,13,44,45) stayed in a family villa at Green Forest Vacation homes in April of 2023. We loved our stay in the villa. I am not sure how I missed the "indoor pool" when booking, but that was a nice little surprise. The villa had a nice little kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. There was a nice living room area with plenty of room to sit and lounge around. We used the table and four chairs to play card games as a family. We used "WAZE" to get to the property from La...

Clean and modern space with great views. Good location within 10m drive to main Monteverde attractions. The host accommodated early check in and was communicative.

Great place

Well-equipped, confortable room with beautiful view.

Everything was great! The property is in a peaceful, remote location while still being close to nearby attractions and points of interest. The projector was a nice bonus, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel was a near perfect luxury hotel. It was beautifully appointed, melted into the ecosystem, had lovely facilities and grounds, and was understated in its luxury. The only area of improvement would be the food. I recommend that the chefs try less to be innovative and more to be consistent in flavor profile and time to table. For example, we sent back several dishes because like the Al pastor hibiscus tacos and the cold eggs with yogurt and oil (Turkish eggs?).

New and stylish property. Super comfy beds. Super clean. Hot water. Very comfortable stay. Laundry across the street, grocery store a few meters away as well as gas station. Responsive owners.

Room was nicely decorated. Staff was friendly. Nice view out back of room into the woods. We had a 7:00 am tour so we couldn’t utilize regular breakfast. They made us a sandwich, fruit, and juice which was appreciated, but if all that was done, they could have just as easily fed us normal breakfast a little early. Also, a little difficult to check out and still be able to access your car when you return. Overall, enjoyed it!

Staff was very friendly. Property is beautiful and well maintained. Staff takes care of your needs, and makes a genuine effort to make your stay memorable. No commercialism. I would love to come back.
