Great hotel in middle of Montepulciano ancient city, our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, Roberto is super fun to talk with and shared me lots of tips for rest of trip in Italy. The terrace on top of the building is special, you can find mature trees growing on it, very quiet place to have breakfast and chill during evening. Very happy I booked that hotel, would go back without hesitation. PS: do not enter the ZTL zone with car !

The best part about Montepulciano was Roberto, the owner and his wife of the hotel. He welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. His energy is contagious. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave. Absolutely recommend this hotel. It is convenient with multiple access to exit and enter. It’s close to the piazza, shopping and food.

Great place and very kind host

Albergo is the best host who will treat you as a guest rather than a customer. The place is very nice and convenient for everything. Try its breakfast, Albergo will serve you himself and provide local food in his beautiful back yard.

What an incredible experience! We absolutely adored our stay with Roberto and Vittoria. The hotel is so cosily decorated and Roberto and Vittoria give you true Italian family hospitality - you feel like part of the family and you’re given a great introduction to Montepulciano with a drive around with Roberto when you first arrive. Roberto and Vittoria were also so kind with our 9 month old baby, who utterly adored them. Vittoria’s breakfast cakes are divine too!!

LOCATION, LOCATION. Roberto's hotel is at the heart of the med-evil city. He and his wife are very welcoming. Provides free car park and is within walking distances of all that Montepulciano has to offer. This is our second time staying there, and will do so again. Bravo!

Roberto and his wife were just so welcoming. They were amazing. The town is fantastic, so safe and so beautiful. We also enjoyed the restaurants, the wineries, and the shops right in the old town. We enjoyed every moment. We do hope to come back and we will stay with Roberto again. The location was perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see.

A Room in the middle of town

We were welcomed by Roberto and showed where our special parking would be. Our room was spacious and overlooked the street below Breakfast was a wonderful spread included in the price and perfect to start each busy day.

Hotel located in the middle of Montepulciano, a hilltop town with wonderful medieval ambience. the host Roberto and Vittoria were wonderful. Hotel is in ZTL (limited traffic zone). We have trouble finding the hotel parking and Roberto took us and guided us with his car to find parking. Many excellent restaurants around hotel. Hotel breakfast was wonderful in courtyard.

Roberto is very friendly. Shower is small. Bring your own soap, shan’t and conditioner as what they offer is very small for 2 people. Otherwise great location and beds were comfortable

A wonderful experience!

A wonderful experience all around. Roberto and his wife are accomplished hosts. Our room was spotless, comfortable and gave us a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was equally good with an assortment of pastries, meats, cheese, fruit and beverages both hot and cold. As a bonus the dogs are very friendly and well behaved and helpful to those who are traveling without their furry companions. Will try to get back here soon!

A great place to stay and Roberto and his wife are excellent hosts. It's hard to find following a maps app; park at P6, don't drive anything but a small car there, and walk from P6 through the small stairway and alley, don't follow the map! The hotel has 2 entrances, be prepared for lots of steps and dark stairways. But it's worth it!

A well established older property with large array of memorabilia. It’s a good climb to reach and there seemed to be no taxi access to or from the property. A local bus gets you close.
