Sea Castles is conveniently located about 15 minutes drive from MBJ Airport. Our apartment, “Cheerful Studio” was small but had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well stocked. Everything worked fine, cool AC, full size fridge, 4 burner electric stove. The unobstructed ocean view was sublime. The building is right next to the pool, which is well maintained and inviting. The beach gate is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment. All the staff were very kind and accommodating. Sea Castles overall has enormous potential to be a 5 star destination, sadly it isn’t currently realizing its full potential. That said, we felt we got a good value for the what we paid. We would stay here again.

The property is awesome, not crowded. Access to the beach isnt perfect, you need a pass to exit n enter through the gate (for safety reasons) but that can also be a deternt as you have to find someone to give you the pass. Othewise, its a public beach so you could just leave the property and walk to the beach. Its cool, very breezy, the view is great, lots of walking paths, tall palm trees, lush green yards, mangoes n naseberry trees, wide pool. Bar and restaurant. Its a lovely place to get away.

The information on Expedia is totally different arriving on. Had to put down 150 deposit that wa given back at departure. But wasn’t advertised. The room was old need TLC.bathroom door does not close. Arriving sat noticed the kitchen sink was leaking water all over on the floor suitcase should was wet noticed that the following morning. When to report the water issue, was advise it’s weekend no Maintenance on weekend. Left Wednesday still no one used paper towel pot to stop the pill over.we weren’t able to shower on Monday no water till 4pm than a liter of water in a closet we had to share between 2 to take somewhat of a shower since we needed to go on the rd to get food to eat but was not able to. The best part was the security very friendly and helpful.no one was in the pool the place seem dead .. the area is close to everywhere very safe I must say.windows don’t close mosqowod kills us.

From time of booking there was constant communication from the staff ensuring smooth arrival. Gladys was very nice, professional and knows her way around ☺️. The overall space of the apartments gives a real island vibe. It gave all inclusive without the extreme overpricing. The restaurant on the property was great!!! Get the BLT!!!!! Can’t wait to come back. Def will stay here again!

Only complaint I have is new chairs are badly needed in the pool area. The three lounge chairs they have are old, worn, and dirty. There’s one restaurant on the property, Queen G. The oxtails are amazingly delicious. One thing to know is you need to rent a car if you want to get around as Seacastle is far from the shopping area

Affordable Beach Hotel

This was the perfect stay except there was no hot water and the safe did not work. I asked them to fix the hot water and that was done the same day. Also, the grounds were immaculate with long stretches of green grass and access to a public beach. The restaurant onsite was amazing called Queen G's.

I like the pool area with the bar. What i didnt like the room i booked had no air conditioning my husband and i first night was horrible. The next morning we were move to another apartment which we feel inlove with. Overall we had a great time. We will definitely visit again.

The property at Sea Castles is absolutely beautiful, however our apartment was VERY basic… with minimum conveniences. One old crusty frying pan, two bent forks. NO cleaning supplies and no house keeping. The air conditioning worked well, a good thing. The place was not clean… food crumbs between the stove and sink brought thousands of ants… no bug spray in sight. The pool was huge and clean. The beach bathing area was okay. The restaurant in the premises was good. There is a convenience store on the property. We had no personal contact with the owner, just generic emails with general instructions to check in and out. At one time, Sea Castles was magnificent, but it is in dire need of updating. You get what you pay for!

Overall my stay was enjoyable and convenient. My Cozy apartment contained all the mood-cons needed for a great stay, fridge-freezer, TV, Internet, cooker, washing machine, AC etc. Great!! The pool was excellent as was the public beach, although the latter needs some TLC. From a UK perspective it was value-for-money and if coming to this part of Jamaica I WILL come here again.
