Excellent breakfast always with fresh fruit and many hot food options. The location 5-10 mins walk from town is great, views are amazing and the staff are so friendly and very kind. Make sure you try the nearby Pelican Grill for dinner.

Spent my birthday at this beautiful bed & breakfast in Jamaica and it was everything I needed and more. The hospitality was amazing they were so warm and welcoming. I traveled to Montego Bay as an extension to a work trip to relax. The property is beautiful. The staff are hospitable The town that you can walk through leaves a lot to be desired. I am not sure if it’s always been this way or if the impact from the hurricane. As a single woman it was a little uncomfortable as your always being haggled about one thing or another. Doctors cove was a nice beach close by with crystal clear water.

The staff was lovely. Thank you Peter and Elaine. Breakfast was fresh. I had the opportunity to see their Escovitch fish (for breakfast. There was a remote in the room for the air conditioning. It is on a hill. View from the pool is lovely. If you have a car that is great. Also back stairs to get up and down.

We booked this B&B last minute for my birthday trip. Polkerris completely exceeded ALL of our expectations. It is the CLEANEST accommodations I have ever stayed at!!! Our room was spotless and so were the common areas and dining experience. The property is well-maintained + great view, this made us feel very comfortable. We missed their welcome message and did not send them our arrival time, yet they were still so welcoming when we got there a bit early. The family (Laura and her parents) that runs Polkerris and all staff we encountered are incredibly kind and make you feel so welcome. Their passion for hospitality shines through in all they do, we felt like we were staying at a relative’s home because of their kindness and care. They went above & beyond for my birthday and I will always remember this (especially because this has been a hard year for us, we really needed this warm experience). This was our first time having traditional Jamaican food and it was absolutely delicious!!! Everything they served us was wonderful. I’m really missing the Escovitch fish. My husband eats only veg & chicken and I’m pescatarian and we felt like we had enough options, and they are also flexible and accommodating too with food preferences. The location is extremely convenient, only a few minutes from the airport. You can walk to the beaches, shops, and 27/27 Lounge is literally right down the street. We would love to stay here again. Thank you all for everything!

It’s a very charming property, beautiful ocean view, very well maintained. Great breakfast options and overlooking the ocean. The property manager Laura was super friendly, very helpful, took care of all our needs. It’s also at a very convenient location, easy walking to Doctor’s cave beach and great restaurants. There is a shortcut path (as long as you are ok with stairs) which makes it closer to these popular places than it appears on Google map. Highly recommend this B&B.
