We never made it to the room. No one could confirm the reservation we waited over 30 minutes and finally gave up and ended up in a different hotel. Also when we got there the description of the place was not what it really was.

Rented for 2 nights and I get a call that my personal things are still there while I was at a funeral. Had to quickly find “proof” that I had indeed rented it for 2 nights. Codes for locks to doors were never sent and I spent about 1/2 hour outside with the security trying to straighten out.

The place was really nice and clean. It's a little confusing when you first get there. There's no place to check in is really hard to speak to anybody. However, the rooms are nice. There's no direction what to do when you get there. The phone number wasn't working in the cab driver had no idea where it was located but once we got there and in a room, it was really nice.

Apart from it not being clear that it was a shared space - there were power issues which led to the AC not working and loudly beeping non stop through the night. The Wi-Fi was also not working. This continued into the following day. I contacted the contact person re the issue and was told there is some power issue. Downstairs power was out completely. She said someone would come to check it out but I had to check out at 11 so that wasn’t helpful for me as it was a one night stay. I was told that the owner would reach out via the medium I booked re a refund but I’m still awaiting a message.

This wasn't a hotel, this was set up like an airbnb - there was no front desk to check in at. Luckily the woman cleaning the room was there and let me into the room, otherwise I don't know how I would have gotten in. Additionally, this is a shared common space situation, which I was not aware of. I had a lock on my door, but was very surprised to learn that the kitchen, living room and entry were all shared with two other rooms. This place is also very out of the way from any dining, I needed to take taxis everywhere. The "beach club" you have access to is a closed down resort, the beach did have chairs on it, but it felt very abandoned and was a very weird experience. It's also about a 15min walk from the Lagoons, so be prepared for that.

The host and housekeepers have were excellent where my stay fell short was the lack of upkeep on a property that has potential to be so nice. Some modern upgrades would do wonders to this place. Even a fresh coat of paint on the exterior would be a welcome improvement. Owners should definitely consider reinvesting their money into the upkeep of their property and take some pride in what they are blessed with.
