The resort was… ok. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The food wasn’t awesome by far, but there was a good variety of selection. The waiters brought all drinks in the diner and the service was a bit slow. Other than the pool and the ping pong table, there wasn’t much for my kids to do. The alcoholic drinks were nicely made. My family enjoyed the party at the poolside. The guys that walked us across the street to the beach was always helpful and kind. Front desk was a bit of an issue. They did not have towels for the beach most times that we asked and could not let us know when we could get towels. There was no phone in the room to call customer service and the room was terribly cold despite changing the thermostat There was no hot water during my stay (typical of Jamaica but thought the resort would be better) One morning there was no water until 9am.

You get what you pay for! I’ve been to many,many all inclusives and this one was the worst by far. Note to self, pay a little more and your expectations will be met. Best part was the food 10/10. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food, this is the spot. No complaints. However let’s start with check-in: arrived after 3pm, room not ready. Decided to go to the beach while waiting, so asked for towels - can you guess? They had none, they were being laundered. No choice but to walk around and wait. Finally room and towels were ready. When going to Doctors Cave, the security is very attentive and will walk you across every time, appreciate that. However you need day passes each day, so when asking for towels to go to the beach you’d think front desk would give you the passes with the towels, nope, you need to ask. No information is ever given by front desk staff, you need to ask questions. Didn’t know there was an Italian restaurant until I saw people dining there. There is only one person assigned to dining there so service is slow. Not only that, you try to order off the menu and half the items aren’t available. But they won’t tell you that until you ask for the out of stock items on the menu. Rooms were cleaned daily if you asked. Bath towels, face cloths etc. all need to be discarded and replaced. They are in terrible shape. Cleaners will take your towels and you’ll have to call for new ones, only to be told they’re doing laundry.

Ideal location to the beach, shopping or a quick walk into town. The building and rooms needed some updating. The staff so friendly and accommodating. This is our fifth time staying here and we are looking forward to another visit.

Rooms were clean, but dated. Bathroom was clean and functional. Biggest issue was not enough wash clothes in the bathroom. 2 of the 4 had to use hand towels to wash with. But with that said, I would definitely take my family back again.

Solo trip to montego bay for the first time ever. Found Deja Resort. Looked them up ton tiktok and Google and was happy with what I saw. Now when I went there. Everything was above my expectations. Food was amazing. Room was super clean, and they clean them daily. Going to the beach was amazing. Drinks were amazing. All inclusive and super affordable. I stayed 2 weeks with Deja Resort. Staff are kind and welcoming beyond words. Ever guest I spoke to said the same thing. For the price you can't complain and there is really nothing to complain about. Being there after the hurricane you could tell some places were badly damaged and closed. I'm so happy Deja Resort survived the storm. I noticed they were housing multiple workers at their resort that were then working at places nearby to help rebuild them. 10/10 stars. I'll be back. Thank you

I stayed here back in October before the hurricane. The staff were super friendly. Rooms were spacious and daily housekeeping always kept us stocked. The food was nice and hot! There were also fun games by the pool! And the vibes were great at both bars! Shoutout to Jodane for the best drinks!!! Also Nelly for the activities! And Brandon as well. Also Chefs Jay and Dexta! Everyone was sweet. I loved how close this hotel was to everything. Also loved the hot tub and the free access to Doctor cove beach across the street. This hotel felt like a piece of true Jamaica. It was so authentic and the culture was amazing to witness. Will be coming back to support and have more fun!

Deja resort is centered in the middle of everything beaches, restaurants, on the famous jimmy cliff blvd and a few blocks from downtown mobay . Yes the room was clean and comfortable the stars ⭐️ at deja resort is the hard working staff like Marvin, Kenny, Donavan, Crystal and Ashley. Great value, friendly and non pressured staff with good facilities and beach a walk across 1 road . Views can see the super cruiser in port. I would recommend a visit to this resort. It is popular with Jamaicans and tourists and is a great location to journey west or east. We used it as a 1st stop in JA after coming from the plane at montego bay. The food is fantastic ..thanks Dexter for the fresh omelettes ! The bar is okay with stnd drinks and well known drinks covered . Dont expect Tia Maria but cream liquers are in plenty supply. I felt safe at the location. But its about the staff and they are real, friendly and down to earth. Get to know them and they will be your friends during your stay. Nothing is to much ! The entertainment is a mixture of jamaican heritage and fun ! The drummers were incredible andbyou could getbreal close for pictures and experience the bass and rhythm.. We loved this resort.Its built around the rocks of montego bay so its not going anywhere ..Solid. Plus i recommend thebJamaica night where staff get dressed up in Jamaican colours and thebfood is national dishes and colours. There is plenty of supply of food. The WIFI was temporary but just after the hurricane this was to be expected. In light of what Jamaican has gone through andbisbstill experiencing, the best way is to give back to Jamaicans by staying in local jamaican owned facilities where locals work in order to pay for their families...Love, Rice and Peace !

The rooms were dated, with bugs. Towels were old and looked very unclean . Service wasn't good at some areas. When you complained they made things worse instead of better. Some staff members very friendly but others very dismissive. Overall not worth it for your comfort and peace of mind.

Staff hospitality was a 10/10. Authentic Jamaican food which I loved and the beach with free access was a plus. The off white towels/washcloths was a no for me. You get what you pay for. Overall great trip. Perfect for a short stay
