「The apartment was not the cleanest & we had no hot water for two days. After trying several times to numbers that were not in service or no one answered we finally got ahold of someone at the management company who sent over a serviceman to fix the problem. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom most of the time not sure where it was coming from possibly the drains. The building itself was very tired & not clean inside or out would have been nice to use the pool but didn’t feel comfortable...

「Great location, less than a 10 minute drive from the airport and just a 5 minute walk to the marina and both the bus and train stations. Close to all the shops and bars in Faro. Rooms are modern and spotlessly clean with good facilities for self catering (although we didn’t try these out!). Staff were friendly and helpful. Great little courtyard where you could sit and enjoy a tea or coffee - supplied free of charge and regularly replenished. I fully intend to return to Faro and would definitely...

「It was modest but had all it needed. I was impressed by the lady who checked me in. I'm a luxury hotelier myself. Well done! The pool was comfortable. The breakfast was okay. The complimentary access to next door indoor aquawater show park for 3 hours was very valuable. All indoor pools at the hotel and at the park were heated and comfortable for the end of October visit. Thank you team!」

「A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. 」

「The resort has plentiful facilities and close to the beach. We are in the ocean suite and the room is nicely decorated and spacious The management is not up to a five star hotel standard. Firstly the dishes in the buffet restaurant, Jardim Colonial, were not very clean, some of which with stains. Having said that , the staffs in the restaurant are helpful.
