Beautiful expansive views of the Crete Senese and Val D’Orcia landscapes, with Sant’Anna in Camprena where the English Patient was filmed standing out. The apartments are large, modern inside and well equipped. Some things one should know. There is no AC, which means that the quality of sleep can be affected in a heat wave. It cools at night and the windows are large, but there are mosquitoes and no window nets. There are mosquito coils, but the fumes can be worse than the bites for someone sensitive to chemicals. Despite not sleeping much in the last night there (August heat), I still felt depressed moving to Sorano and Pitigliano area, which is not too shabby :) I missed the panoramic views afforded from Bombina. I would suggest getting rid of the planted bushes around the pool, at least towards to valley, which block the view while swimming or hanging by the pool. It also attracts ants and insects.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Serena empfang uns herzlich beim Checkin und erklärte alle Details dieser wirklich schönen Unterkunft. Auch danach war sie immer erreichbar via WhatsApp. Das Frühstück ist exzellent und war das beste, das wir auf unserer Italien-Reise hatten. Die Lage war für uns perfekt für verschiedene Ausflüge in der Toskana. Serena gab uns einen Tipp für ein Restaurant in Montisi und kümmerte sich um die Reservierung. Diese Empfehlung war goldwert, wir haben selten so gut gegessen! Vielen Dank Serena für die Gastfreundlichkeit. Das war die beste Unterkunft unserer zweiwöchigen Italienreise!

Maria, the host, was very friendly and helpful. It was really hot so a couple of fans would have been great. Also, be careful the address listed on the Expedia site is not the real address. We were tired with the drive and that was the last thing we needed. After calling the host we got the correct address and made it safely.
