"We had a great stay at Quality Inn & Suites Mont-Joli. The service at check-in was friendly and welcoming, and staff were helpful when we used the laundry — a much-appreciated perk after four days of camping. You can buy laundry soap at the front desk for $2, which was convenient. The pool was warm and relaxing, and we loved having access to the spa/hot tub and the sauna — a lovely surprise! The lobby was also a comfortable place to hang out, and we were intrigued by the hydroponic herb garden near the entrance. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, included in the price, and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the waffles and yogurt, and there was a good hot selection too — sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns — all replenished promptly. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit sparsely decorated, and we did miss having bedside table lamps. The air conditioner was loud, but it helped block out other sounds, so we slept well. All in all, a great place to rest and recharge. We’d definitely stay again."

"I hadn't been in Gouverneurs in awhile, I don't think I will for a long time. Old property and facilities, I felt like nothing had change for at least 20 years. No coffee in the room, I had to pay for one in the lobby... No iron. But on a positive note, the staff was courteous, and the bed very comfortable."
