Its different. We loved using the Terrace, and had cocktails there every night. Roberto the GM and Chef, treated us like family and cooked whatever we wanted. Its home cooking - nothing fancy - but made with love. It’s close to the beach - so they tell us - we never made it - but not close to town. It’s a 200 year old building, so dont expect modern amenities. But it is authentic.

Struttura bella, ben gestita, in ottima posizione. L’unica spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi è pessima ma c’è ne sono diverse nel giro di un paio di km. Cenare nella masseria non è secondo me conveniente. Colazione ottima. Stanze spaziose, silenzio e relax.

Besseres Management wäre wünschenswert

Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung - Betten waren sehr gut. Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen - die Angaben aus dem Angebot stimmen jedoch leider nicht mit der Realität überein. Wir haben drei Tage gebucht und nachdem nach zwei Tagen noch immer kein Internet zur Verfügung stand, haben wir das Zimmer gewechselt. Das Hotel befindet sich auch nicht am Strand. Ein nicht sehr schöner Strand ist fussläufig in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar oder es fährt täglich 3x ein shuttle Bus an einen schöneren Strand. Wenn man das Abendessen im Hotel genießen möchte, kostet es 50 EUR pro Person statt der immer noch angegebenen 35 EUR. Fazit: unter einem besseren Management und mit einer gepflegteren Anlage und mit etwas Modernisierung könnte es wieder zu einem Juwel werden, weil das alte Gemäuer schon einen gewissen Charme versprüht.

Et si on apprenait le respect?

Cet hôtel ressemble à un match sur une appli de rencontre, on est séduit par les photos mais quand on se rencontre en vrai, on constate que les photos datent d’il y a + de 10 ans. Ils vont même jusqu’à mettre des faux rochers le long de l’allée centrale mais comme ils sont abîmés, on voit qu’ils sont faux 🙄 si un doute persiste, les matelas déchirés de la piscine finiront de vous donner la tendance. Mais le plus embêtant, c’est que le restaurant (en plein air du côté des chambres) peut être privatisé…ce qui fut hélas notre cas, donc impossible de dormir ou de s’entendre même penser dans ces cas-là! Donc si vous devez séjourner dans cet hôtel, assurez-vous qu’aucune soirée privée ne soit prévue! Pensez quand même à vos bouchons d’oreilles parce que le réfrigérateur, aussi vieux que la bâtisse, vous réveillera de toutes façons plusieurs fois dans la nuit… Dommage parce que entretenu et surtout en respectant un minimum les clients qui louent une chambre, l’endroit pourrait être sympa.

Not as good as expected

The rate of this location seems to be a 5*, but honestly cannot be anything more than 3*. the location itself is not bad, but really nothing special. The guys at reception were fine, but they did not propose any of the possible services till explicit request based on the info we got from internet (e.g. pool, spa, restaurant). Explanation about the possibility to have dinner at their restaurant was so poor that we could not even imagine to thinck about. the room was small a bit old as condition, but nice and overall comfortable. what is not acceptable for any hotel level but mainly for a 5* (so said) the waste bin in the bathroom was not cleared after the former guests... It was just for one night, then ok. But I will remember to not go again.

Amazing staff

This hotel is gorgeous, the terrace has amazing views, the restaurant is beautiful, the pool is great and I loved all the plants around. Also great location, the beach is five minutes away and there are great restaurants with good prices around. However for me the biggest pro of this hotel is the staff. We needed to get a PCR test and the receptionist went above and beyond to schedule this for us. It’s a pity I didn’t get his name but he was the one that welcomed us in the hotel on Sunday, July 18th. He not only managed to book us the test but got the lab to bring someone over to the hotel for it and printed all the forms for us beforehand. We could see how stressful the whole logistics were but he made sure we were enjoying our time there while he took care of it. The staff in the restaurant was also brilliant, always checking if we needed anything and bringing coffees and eggs promptly. Grazie mille a tutti!
