"The staff is friendly, and the express checkout is easy (we have to leave in the very early morning). The room is fine, but some facilities are not well maintained. The location is great for people driving from the East to Yosemite National park. Also, the balcony view of Mono Lake is a plus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"This is our favorite “go to” place whenever we visit Bridgeport. We love the huge grassy area with chairs and tables to enjoy the mornings or evenings. Rooms are always quiet and you can park right in front of your room. It is located close to shops and restaurants to walk to. Just love the old world style of the town and the hotel."

"I have been going to Virginia settlement for several years now. I enjoy staying in the cabins even though they are very rustic. The goodie bag the hotel gives you is great. It includes fish, food and things to make s'mores with. I have been pleased each time I've gone.I'm"

"The property was secluded and tucked away which was nice for a quiet and relaxing experience. Although it was secluded and tucked away, it was central to many locations and lakes that were on our itinerary."

"Spent 5 days here exploring the area. Bathroom seems like is was recently redone and was nice and clean. Portable air conditioning unit kept the room comfortable when it was 95 degrees outside. Some past reviews complained about "road noise". The motel sits directly next to US395 (as does the other 3 or 4 motels in town), but I didn't find road noise to be a major problem. Very nice place. It would be my first choice if I'm ever back through the area."

"Loved that check in was quick and easy! We had 5 people in our suite (2 bedroom with Queen size beds & a pull out couch. We didnt event need to pull the couch into bed becaue the couch was very comfy. Excellent kitchen with everything you need to cook. The showers were great as well. We visited in August and it was hot outside. They had a fan in our suite to place by the window to let that cool breeze in. Plus they have ceiling fan to help circulate the air. We slept through the night super comfortable in our beds. Also, We absolutely love the rec room!! Ping ping table is so entertaining we were there for 2 hours. They had air condition which made playing more comfortable."
