"Trendy vibe and great looking decor. Would probably be great for a night out. Re staying check in was an odd experience took absolutely ages as the staff had to double up doing that with bar service but was met with a super friendly chap (sorry I was pretty uncommunicative at that point - tired from travel etc - but your efforts were noted and appreciated). The room itself nicely presented and very clean, bed was comfortable but there was no drawers to put clothes in so not v suitable for longer stays. Room was baking hot at night - air con available but didn’t amount to much. Breakfast service staff were fairly curt and wasn’t easy finding the bread. Breakfast seems to be highly rated here but I didn’t think there was that much choice especially if you are looking for a healthier breakfast (donuts anyone?) but obviously a matter of taste. Also not great seating for lone travellers there were these odd little seat booths which looked fun but not all that practical if you’re broad shouldered you end up with back pain twisting to eat your breakfast. I probably would come back here but more for one of the evening events back to back with a one night stay rather than a long weekend break. Room was quiet and excellent location so despite some of the quibbles overall I thought good value for money."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel and our room, especially for the price compared to nearby options. The location is perfect, right across from a ferry landing and bus stop. Very walkable to many of the city’s attractions as well. It is the tallest building in the area and our room had a lovely view of the river and city from the 14th floor. The room was spacious, bed was cosy and there was a deep tub with shower combo. There is a mini-safe, mini-fridge, tea kettle and Nespresso maker. Free water bottles, various teas and Nespresso capsules were provided. The room has A/C and blackout curtains as well. All of the staff were very helpful and attentive. Special thanks to Shaz at the front desk who allowed us to checkout a little late without charge after our brunch ran long due to an order mix-up. Would definitely stay again!"

"Absolutely beautiful property that we thoroughly enjoyed during our three-day stay. The location is ideal—right in the center of town and within easy walking distance of most major attractions and many excellent restaurants. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We had rented a car while visiting the UK to explore Wales, and because there was no convenient place directly in front of the hotel to unload our luggage, the staff graciously came across the street to help carry our bags to our room. Aside from this minor inconvenience, our stay was outstanding. This is a wonderful place to stay, and we would not hesitate to return."

"The room was okay and good value for the centre of Bristol - some TLC needed in the rooms - warn carpets, dirty window frames - just gave the feeling of being grubby. When looking our the window you are overlooked by other rooms and this showed more signs of improvements being necessary - lead flashing falling off the roof. We had one drink in the bar and fruit flies were very evident. Not a bad stay but not perfect - just a need for for investment and some TLC!"
