This is my second stay at The Woodlands. It’s a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful employees. It’s clean and quiet and the food and bar are excellent. It will always be my first choice when staying in the ferry.

Last minute booking. Clean. Affordable. Friendly staff.

Hard to find and park, but ideally located and has a local feel

The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. Staff was friendly!!

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Very clean.

Had no problems, very nice staff and clean hotel

Nice hotel, not quaint or Scottish, but nice. I am not sure if they used any insulation between rooms as we could hear the neighbors conversations quite well and the TV from about 4 rooms down.

This place was truly lovely and unique. Well appointed and comfortable. The host met us in the lobby and warmly welcomed us. We would definitely stay here again.

The lobby area has great spaces to lounge, read a book, or meet friends. The dining areas and food were excellent. My only gripe (small in nature) was that the shampoo was unusual in that it was in a tube and did not provide sufficient suds upon use.

A very nice small boutique hotel less than two years old. Perfect location.

Really great location. Very short walk from the train station and an easy walk to down town.
