"Arrived around 9:45 pm and all the parking near the hotel was full. The hotel is situated on narrow roads (and, many one-way) but thankfully my passenger was able to get out of the car and check with hotel reception regarding where to park. We were directed to a public parking lot about 600m up the hill, which was also quite full. Unfortunately, I did not get to use the electric car charging that the hotel site referenced. Room was comfortable, but this is more like a 2-star hotel not a 4-star hotel. The laminate floor was deteriorating in several places. Breakfast had eggs and breakfast meats at the "hot food" options. It was sufficient, but nothing to write home about. We did enjoy having dinner at the restaurant, which was quite busy and lively with locals. "

"I sent an email asking the hotel about public transport to get to the hotel and the worker Valentina told me the trains to get I tild her TAXI was not an option. 90 euros taxi 70 euros night at the hotel. To our surprise trains were not working due to maintenance she should have told me. I was till 2 o' clock in the morning picking up buses and trains and there was NO possible way to get to Brunello. I am with a minor it was absolutely horrendous. We had to go to Milan Centrale and obviously find another hotel. I sincerelly think it is misleading propaganda and she should have warned me : THERE IS NO TRAIN WORKING TODAY. IT was no show because of the impossibility to get there. The add should be clear our hotel is for people with a car or people willing to pay 90 euros for a taxi! I will ask for a reimburse because I find this unfair and unacceptable."

"No information packs in the rooms and no kettles either. Although a car isn’t needed I would suggest only book if you drive as not much round about the hotel. Wasn’t advised that rooms don’t get cleaned at weekends and also only if your out the room for 11am. Under the bed looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages and communal stairs were the same. No outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Breakfast very basic but nice. Reception staff were very helpful. Bed was amazing! "
